The Light and Shadow of Energy and Time

We can enjoy the new beginnings of our new moon in Pisces today, March 1, 2014 at 3:01AM EST when the sun and the moon are in conjunctivo at 10* of PIsces.

This is where the lunar and solar cycles get together for a little yin/yang loving and start a new cycle for the month.  In this case, it is time to dive deep into the waters of Neptune/Poseidon, and collect the world we have been dreaming as the winter brings us into our internal world of hibernation and usually less movement.

When we sit quietly and ruminate on the past, then meditate and find that still small voice is silenced enough, the deep world rises up to deliver us nuggets of gold and pearls of wisdom.  There is wisdom in ‘not’ doing that for some, can be a little too unnerving, but if one can, when the chickens come home to roost, we develop a more comprehensive sense of who we really are and what we are capable of doing. Using the reigns of Saturn/EL, we can harness the deeper magic of Poseidon’s horses~ The Sea horse of our spiritual and mythical mind.

This time has many energetic changes happening, as the moon and the sun dance together, Mercury/Hermes (communication, short trips) has just gone direct at 18* OF Aquarius, Mars/Ares (Energy, passion and the individual) goes retrograde on the 2^nd at 27* of Libra, and Saturn/EL (structure/authority/time) will go retrograde on March 3, at 23* of Scorpio.

So…When Mars hits 24* of Libra on March 23^rd, he will be returning to his conjunction with Saturn back on August 15^th, 2012, which will bring a reminder right now, so pay attention and consider what you were dealing with back then, with taxes, authorities, partnerships, love interests and affairs.  This is the seed that was planted and it is part of Saturn’s 29 year cycle that you now have a little time to readjust and amend.

This is NOT the time to start new projects, as I stated in the last post about Mars.

What we are also witnessing and dealing with, are a lot of the ‘shadow’ aspects of ourselves and others around us.  They may be mirroring your own shadow back to you, that you have been ‘hiding’ and not dealing with consciously.  This may happen by always trying to be ‘positive’ and buying into the spiritual baloney that has been twisted into: we only attract what we think about.  We attract WHAT AND WHO WE ARE AND THE LESSONS WE NEED TO ACCESS OUR POTENTIAL AND HEAL THE PAIN OF THE PAST.  WE CAME HERE TO LEARN AND EVOLVE.

A battery has a negative and positive pole, and you cannot have a ‘current’ without the pairs of opposites being ‘paired’, so negative to positive and vice versa.  Of course we should always make the best of a situation, but remember that the truth sets us free.  As I always say, ignorance has the word 'ignore' inside, so shed the light on the situation and get tot he truth. Now, during these times, all these planets are expressing their shadow’ side, which means our own shadow will be exposed, and that may not be comfortable, thus they become hidden aspects, things that we feel and bury and we don’t actually deal with on a conscious basis. For instance; Saturn/El who represents authority and boundaries, may bring issues of boundaries, of standing up for ourselves or authority.  So, those very lessons may show up in our life, through the people who can best represent or teach us that lesson.  If it is a boss, we may need to revisit our true desires and our work ethic and goals.  If they abuse power and we complain about that but never actually stand up to that person in authority, then that lesson will keep reappearing in our lives and this is the time for just such experiences.  Saturn also represents our physical boundaries as in buildings and our home, construction on that home.  So, the power someone has or threatens you with, may feel like a threat to your security or home…where you secure your own body and possessions. Especially with Mars retrograde in Libra, where our passions and drive come into play.  This is definitely a passive/aggressive trigger time, and we will see people act out or push our buttons. Lessons about when and how to stand up for ourselves will come front and center.  How much energy does one want to put into the relationship?  What about the passion?  Well, right now, that may feel a bit, lacking or…it could be a head of steam if you have been holding it all bottled up, just make sure it doesn’t go off with the wrong person, because if this is in any way directed into affairs, or secret loves, it is SURE to backfire.  Jupiter is still retrograde too and will go direct at 10* of Cancer on March 6th, so Cancers will FINALLY feel a little of that good mojo coming back.  You are still on the cross if you have planets between 10-16*, but you will feel some good measure come back to you, for all your good vibes you have been putting out there for so long. That nurturing will come back as well as some of the expenses you have paid, should see some return. I would still caution against any new venture, until Mars goes direct on May 20th, and even safer yet, is when Saturn goes direct, for anything regarding a lot of responsibility or commitment and that won’t be until July 21st. So what do we do in the meantime?  We learn, we pay attention to the possibilities that present themselves and those around us who are teaching us those final lessons to make sure we are that much clearer about who we are, what we really desire/want in life, and what we are willing to do, give up or put up with to get there.  How do we spend our time, and is it bringing about the world we desire or wish to create, does it bring us the happiness of Jupiter?  Have we plumbed the depths of our spiritual treasure chest and brought out the pearls we have been blessed with? While Neptune is in PIsces, she is home, so we have a long time for dreams playing a pivotal part in our life, but while the new moon makes her conjugal visit with her solar paramour, she is dosing our world with the power to dream, to envision and ‘feel’ the music of our world, so listen, play and dance! When Jupiter goes direct on the 6th, some good mojo will pour back into the planet, and also things that you have started previous to the retrograde periods will find their way into a period of overhaul. re-visitation or reformatting, which is different than starting a brand new project. It will be a good time to: Re-new, re-pair, re-juvenate-re-SOURCE, etc. This is a period of ‘tempering the vessel’, so learn some temperance, it is not punishment, as much as it is out of love, to build something even better. People will come into your life as the perfect trigger to open up and access your shadow and that lesson.  The key, is the shadow and the light will pour into your life, when the shadow is acknowledged, and the lesson has tempered your vessel enough to hold THE LIGHT and THAT POWER.  The universe has divine timing, that you may only see in the lens of history.  “Enlightenment is not imagining figures of light but making the darkness conscious.” ~ Carl Gustav Jung
