The Magician Raises The Cross In The Goat's Full Moon

Mercury has finally stationed direct at 16* II (Gemini) on the 22^nd.

He will leave his shadow on July 7^th, when he is at 24* II Gemini.

The moon, the last super-moon of the year, waxes into fullness on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 2:39PM, when Lady Luna has stretched across the heavens and now stands at 3*27’ Capricorn (the fish/goat) gazing at her LIGHT, a 3*27' sun in Cancer.  Cancer occupies the 4th house, which is ruled by the moon, mother, home.  Capricorn is strictly business, goal oriented, they are forever strategizing on how to climb the pyramid of success.  This is government and governing bodies.  It is restriction and reserve.
Business agreements you may have made in the past, now seek attention and review as some of the uglier and darker currents are revealed.

This comes just a couple of days after Mercury went direct on June 22^nd at 16*II (Gemini).  We can see why this particular retrograde was exceptionally strong, since Mercury rules Gemini!
We also had a Grand Water Trine form on the 22^nd between Venus at 24* Cancer, Neptune at 23* PIsces and the moon at 23,24,25* of Scorpio.  This is a wonderful way to light up the grid and flash your true desires and dreams on the screen.  (What a gift to YOU! water signs)
The eclipses of May/June will bring some fruition now, so pay attention, as what you TRULY VALUE becomes clear, and we are somewhat through the wash/spin cycle.  This is the process of separation,
discernment, or Temperance.  (Tarot card XIV)
This is a preview, of the issues that are going to be processed all year, culminating with the eclipses in November and December.  December 4^ths solar eclipse (new moon) is at 12* Sagittarius, activating the Gemini/Sag axis (mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and PIsces). 
Neptune also stations RX on June 25th at 23* PIsces, sucking us like an undertow, into the deeper realms of our subconscious.  You cannot help it if your sleepy!
The lunar eclipse occurring at the end of the year on November 19th at 27* Taurus/Scorpio, which is triggering that FIXED CROSS, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius; all working out major endings, clearing the debris of old karmic build-up and releasing you of ancient attachments that have held you back many lifetimes. Note these degrees on your own charts, to see where points and planets are gathering and being readied to cut away the dross.  Every layer of darkness you exhume, visit, tend to within you and cut away, is the crack that lets in the light that shines the way forward.  Sit in the still silence, caress the walls of your internal being, and congratulate yourself for making the journey thus far.  Comfort your tired and weary heart and bones, who have been through so much.  Cry for her/him…open the floodgates wide and wrap your arms around your body, rock to and fro and sing or hum, soothing and WITNESSING your own heroic journey.  I SEE YOU.

So, the churning will continue, as the bodies that were buried come up, revealing the truth, even as that Neptune magic, especially as Mercury is again moving forward and will move into EXACT TRINE TO NEPTUNE on July 24^th when Mercury/Hermes finds his way to 22* Cancer.  Mercury clears his shadow on July 7^th when he reaches 24* Gemini, so even as we see the truth revealed, better believe there will be a lot of obfuscation and tons of irrelevant or partially true bombshells are covered in tentacles of hubris and more deceit.

How to DISCERN between what is true and what is not?  That is what all this clearing is for!  If your VALUES spring from the heart of Pluto and your soul’s yearning than you will have no problem, since the truth must vibrate CLEARLY IN THE HEART with its tether to the moon in the belly.
The sun at 3* of Cancer is forming a perfect trine to a newly retrograde Jupiter (RX on 6/21 at 2*PIsces) so this is massively expanding HOPE AND JOY, a much needed emotion as we slug out of our Corona Caves (Jonah/whale) of TRANSFORMATION.  

Additionally, Jupiter's entry into PIsces, along with Neptune's transit in PIsces, when they are the rulers of PIsces, as well as all the aspects are directly responsible for the price of oil increasing, Jupiter EXPANDS, after July 28th when he retrogrades back into Aquarius, we may see a small reprieve, but expect that to blow up again when Jupiter once again ingresses back into PIsces at the end of the year when we must buy fuel to heat our homes up north.  The price of gas always increases in summer months when we travel, save for 2020 when we did not and gas usage was at an all time low with major reserves and tankers being held off shore.
If you’ve done the work and taken that lantern down into the subterranean labyrinth and sat in your own darkness, you are far more prepared for the times we are now entering, as we are now more than half-way through the GREAT USA FIRE ECLIPSE, that comes to the final GATEWAY in April of 2024..
This is the makings of great MAGIC.

On July 1^st as we ready ourselves for celebrations about our FREEDOMS (which are dwindling quickly…JUPITER NEEDS FREEDOM TO ROAM!  Don’t fence me in!!!) the PRESSURE mounts as Mars at 12* Leo OPPOSES Saturn RX at 12* Aquarius and both SQUARE Uranus at 13* Taurus.  This is a Tao CROSS, (the kind that made Jesus fall) in the FIXED SIGNS.  Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.  Wow are you being ACTIVATED FOR DUTY.
This will bust up ‘fixed beliefs’ that have not seen the light of truth EXPOSE what has been corrupted, not standing the test of time and needs new focus and attention along with the brilliant insights, like ripe fruit ready for Saturn’s sickle, to cut away the dross and clear the way, as Venus makes her way into the corners at 5* Leo.

In Between The Returning Light Of The World

We are now past the midway point, between winter and spring.  Yes, see the sun coming out in the blue sky?  Just 25 days from today, (February 23, 2021) We will have the spring equinox on March 20^th!

And just as we are ‘in between’ these times, we can also give perspective to the times we all now find ourselves on planet earth.  For the shift has begun, and like giving birth, it is not easy.  The water must break.  The head must begin to push through the birth canal in undulations and we can learn to breathe and work with those birth pains, to make this an easier process.

That doesn’t mean you don’t have cravings for food, rest, certain people who comfort you, books, movies, and Muse-IC, all can play a role in this process.
Personally, I need to take time throughout the year, but especially during the dark, winter, months to incubate, to pull away in swim in the embryonic safety of my own seclusion and allow memories to flash backwards and cloister myself in prayer activating the deeper connection to the Holy Spirit.

To the angels who may grace me with their presence, and to my unseen queen, Mary Magdalene.  She, the Patron Saint of Aromatherapy and Alchemy who has come to me over the years to teach me.  Even more often the Angel Gabrielle, have I found myself in the presence of this sweetness, and I know I am not alone in this connection.
Because this time, is the beginning of Her time to walk with us.

I have stated this over and over in sharing my dreams and experiences, including several chapters in my book and the blogs I have written.
Beginning way back with the first newsletter I started to write for ArcAncient in the year 2000.
Does this always wipe away my fears that also arise during these times which are at the very least, disconcerting?  No.  I am no monk or cloistered nun living on that path where one can hide from the vicissitudes of life.
There are no collection plates being passed around that assures me that I will have all I need to pay my bills.

And that brings me to a point I want to make that I often hear people glibly say.  And that is that if it is a gift of spirit, it should be given freely.
Even tribal medicine men and women were assured that they would be fed and sheltered, honoured by the tribe.  No, I am not making any claim to such status.
I wouldn’t dare.  I am no fan of people abusing the word, ‘shaman’ or any such thing, because it is irreverent and absent of the true meaning.
A shaman, ‘walks between worlds’ and has ‘died to this world’ and returned.

I have done both, yet still, I make no such claim.
I don’t because I am all too aware of being in this mortal coil, walking on this earth and dealing with the very real struggle of day to day living.

Even Jesus was ‘tempted in the wilderness’.
In my own experience, and I have met many a wonderful human, teacher, sage on my walk, no one is above this and those who claim differently are either ignorant or lying.  I have seen the struggles and personally guided many of these same teachers or elders behind the scenes. 
People want a leader.  They search for a saviour. 
This leads to a lot of misguided and mislead people, and when the illusion breaks, and it always does, it is a very difficult fall, and realignment that must take place.
That is the whole point of the seasons of winter.  To go within.

To find your own inner-light.  That doesn’t mean you don’t stumble in the darkness.  Some of us are very hard on ourselves (myself included) when we stumble, when we can’t hear that voice, when the coincidences and ‘signs’ aren’t appearing to reassure us.  This is of course, the ‘dark night of the soul’.
EVERY SINGLE SAGE OR BEING ON THE PATH TO FIND THE TRUE ‘NORTH’ OR GOD/LIGHT, HIGHER SELF, MUST GO THROUGH TIME. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

And going through it once, does not mean, you won’t go through this period again.  We reach levels.  When you graduated from 12^th grade, and then found yourself in university, or whichever new aspect of the path, was that the end of learning for you?  Of course not.
Just as I point out in: ‘Total Sensory Healing and Integration ©’ in the Cymatics aspect of sound, as the pitch changes, the sacred geometrical shape BREAKS DOWN and reforms.  I taught the first class in 1997 after writing much of it, while living in the barn.  I taught segments of this, starting in 1990, as it came to me during dreams and in working with clients.

Don’t you wonder why we even experience snow?  Why the very plants who create the liquid-light of ‘esse’-ntial oils, hibernate?  They haven’t abandoned us; they will return soon.  Even now, you will find plants and trees growing new buds.  You can go out and witness that each snowflake is unique and gorgeous.

It is also just necessary for me to seek to know God.  To find the language and the signs.  To follow the very stars from heaven, in the firmament, the waters above that have been separated from the waters below.  The lights given to guide us.  

I am simply a lowly messenger, a handmaiden.  When I am inspired and the ‘book opens up to me’, the thrill is the fruit far out on the limb, so sweet, it makes the arduous journey all worthwhile.

So, I read the signs, that is what makes me love astrology.  Because it is one of the languages of God.
Most people know of Enoch, who ‘walked with God’.

In chapter II, we find these words:

1 And in those days, I will open the Storehouses of Blessing, which are in Heaven, so that I may send them down upon the Earth, upon the work, and upon the toil, of the sons of men. 2 Peace and truth will be united, for all the days of eternity, and for all the generations of eternity.

Don’t we all yearn for peace and truth?

We are promised just that. 
Soon, the spring rains will bring another promise, that of the rainbow that stretches across the horizon, a gift to us, a sign that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Please forgive me during these times when I must hide and recuperate.  Feeling and seeing the difficult times, and all the people reaching out to me for ‘hope’ daily, takes its it toll.  I must withdraw to restore and replenish my spirit.  To drink the water from the eternal well.

My ‘hyper-sensitivity’ makes those lines between the weight and worry of people I care deeply about and the overwhelming and very palpable fear so many feel now all over the planet too thin a veil to keep from filling me and weighing me down.  One layer at a time, my vessel fills.  The very gift that allows me passage ‘between worlds’ and a ‘sensitive’, also creates the need to pull back and protect myself at times.
It is an ongoing lesson for me.  I soon find myself confused and unable to find the mooring of my own soul.
Please don’t take this personally when this happens. 
Wisdom is an ongoing process of the soul’s evolution.

I share this, so that some of you may also realize the very same need.

It is not being ‘selfish’ it is one of survival.

The very EL-e-MENTS themselves are telling us to add layers of protection from the cold winds that literally can take a limb.  Take a ‘member’ from our being or bring us to our very death. 

We cannot always sustain or attend to other people’s needs, when it means drowning or freezing, gasping for breath.  This can be a very hard lesson for anyone who is inclined to be a ‘caregiver’.  Very hard indeed.

But how else, will we create a new design of interstellar beauty to reveal and bless the world? 
Yes, we must dive deep, go diving for the pearls found in the depths below, what seems ‘unfathomable’ is literally fathoms beneath the superficial world, in the ocean of our subconscious; the carefully protected soul.

She is there beaming her light, whispering in the winds of change, and beckoning us to take a seat for the feast she has prepared to replenish you after your long and arduous journey. 

Take heart, you may feel alone (all one) but we are all going through this mass CORONA ritual together, 19, NUMBERS are another language that speaks to us and shows us the WAY. 
I have broken down those numbers for you before, but as a reminder, the 1 (I) is the MAGICIAN who stands at the table (plain of existence/square/EL) with the El-e-MENTS, and like Jacob who wrestles with God, as the angels ascend and descend the spiral staircase of DNA, the magician is the fool, now learning the basics of language.  Alchemy.  EL-Chem/Khem-y.  (Khem is the land of the darkness, or that which is occulted).  MM, see further down.
IX is the Hermit (see him with his lantern he had discovered in his quest for the Holy Grail? See his staff?  This is so he can lead others)
XIX (all by itself, see the power in this number?)

It is the SUN CARD.  You can only see the Corona of the sun during an eclipse, which of course, in August of 2017 opened up this very gateway we are now travelling.
And when we add: I + IX= X As above, So Below, X marks the spot.
It is the Wheel of Fortune.  Fun, eh?

There is literally a chapter called, ‘NUMBERS’ in the bible.
We are shown over and over, like children given a manual, a map to find our way home.  Yet, we do not have the eyes to see, nor the ears to hear, that which is right in front of us.

Yet, people are often stuck, lost in the superficial words that occlude the deeper truth, the parables given to the ‘profane’ who have not yet peeled back the veil enough to learn the truth hidden within, the MYSTERIES.
Babylon (confusing languages) revealed.

So, I send this to you, as a beacon, as a reminder that we are on our way.  Just as the sun extends that LIGHT OF THE WORLD with each passing day now, God sees our every moment.  God has not abandoned us.  Just allowing us to try to ride our bikes without physically running alongside of us. 
We can do it.
YOU CAN DO THIS.

We have come through so much now.

We will peel the layers of clothing off, just as we expose ourselves and become naked before our own soul.  We will put sunglasses on, so the LIGHT doesn’t burn our eyes, or the GLARE doesn’t blind us.

The moon is now journeying through the mother/house of Cancer.

 It forms the cardinal cross again, to Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

We enter Lent, when we give up something and are instructed to ‘fast’, which we also call, ‘detoxing’ now.

Another method to begin to peel back the layers.

Believe me, as an astrologer for over 40 years now, I have NEVER seen the stars align in such powerful ways.
We are now travelling tropically in the sign of PIsces.  This will enhance our dreams and visions.  Neptune in rulership square the north and south nodes of the moon, further awakening us, and activating the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and PIsces.

Here, I remind you again that after dying on the cross, we will ‘roll away the stone’ (our pineal gland/Kheter/crown chakra/many petaled) tucked between the two hemispheres of our brain. And then we will find ourselves in the garden.
Pesach/Passover begins on Saturday, March 27^th 7:47PM, which is the ‘Last Supper’, it is when Jesus breaks bread and offers wine as COMMUNION.
How has your body and blood aged in your own vessel?

We shall serve no wine before its time.

Let no one lead you astray saying ‘lo here or lo there’ for the Christ is found within.

Seek out your own light, that you may help others to find their own light too.

Every layer becomes one less until our very skin as we age becomes thinner, we become more child-like and we finally cross over and enter the kingdom of heaven.

This too shall pass.

PASSOVER ends, and we celebrate Easter on April 4^th, which always follows the full moon, which happens on March 28^th at 2:48PM when the moon reaches the cardinal sign of Libra at 8*, and the Cardinal Cross is once again triggered.  

Mercury is direct and will be out of his shadow on March 13^th when Mercury is at 26* Aquarius, the FIXED CROSS, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, the Water Bearer...follow the woman with the jar into Her house.  Mary Magdalene is now walking with us on planet earth.  This is not something I think, it is something I KNOW.  She comes to many now.  Walk in nature, listen to the music of the river, listen to the whispering wind in the branches.  Watch her dancing light shimmering on the WATERS.  She is here to help balance these times.

Blue Moon You Saw Us Howling And Opened The Door To Loved Ones

Whew, what a weekend we are going to have!  Lady Luna is very pregnant and will be the gorgeously full Hunters Moon at 8* Taurus the Bull at 10:49 AM on Saturday October 31^st, standing across an 8* Sun in Scorpio.  This is also the second full moon in October; thus, we call this a BLUE MOON.  This will activate this Mercury retrograde since Mercury began to station retrograde on October 12^th at 11* Scorpio.  So, we have major energy infusing and activating the fixed cross.  All of us can experience renegotiating, repairing, resolving many issues or problems that may have demanded our attention, especially those we may have swept under the rug, or put off for quite some time.  

Scorpio’s and Taurus or those with planets or points in these fixed signs will feel this the strongest, that means it triggers Leo’s and Aquarian’s who may be starting to feel that rumble under the ground, or deep in their spirit, as Saturn and Jupiter are nearing the global reset point of 00* Aquarius.  Check your charts, or houses where this point is, because it heralds a major new cycle beginning. 
This is further exacerbated by the conjunction of Uranus who is also at 8*41’ of Taurus, he is retrograde so he has flown back through the heavens, to meet up with the moon for just this infusion of energy.  This will magnify eccentricity’s and changes that may come out of the blue.  Insights and new ideas of real genius may flash across your mind like a shooting star.  Though the moon is emotional and fleeting by nature, they are in Taurus the bull which is tenacious and does not give up.  

Those fixed signs may finally see their long-term perseverance finally start to come into fruition, the

light not only appears at the end of the tunnel, but it is also shining on your accomplishment and ready to light up your world.

This is also the weekend when the veil is very thin, and with Mercury retrograde, this can really bring some messages from across the ethers and into your world.  Pay attention to names, symbols, and signs that those you love who have crossed over are now sending you to let you know they are with you and watching out for you.  You may hear a song, something could literally fall on the floor in front of you as a remind and clear message, you could be thinking of someone and hear or see their name being called.  Those are all signs that they are sending love, and the more heart chords you created, the bigger the highway across dimensions.

We also have all Saints day on November 1^st, the day after Halloween and then we have All Soul’s Day, or Day of the Dead on November 2^nd, when Mercury will station direct after travelling back to 25* Libra, the scales of balance.

Of course, that is the day before the election in the US on November 3^rd which will serve to further confuse election results, confound accurate ballot counts and very possibly fuel an already incendiary presidential race, and very likely actually catch fire in some places with Uranus bringing down bolts of lightening as the God’s threaten retribution in the war being waged, literally of good and evil. 

Make sure to light your candles and say your prayers, decorate your altars with fresh flowers and gratitude for that which you successfully hunted down this year, giving attention to your loved ones, get out their pictures and/or affects that have fond memories.

Uranus straddling the moon and Mercury stationing direct will serve to unnerve and destabilize an already combustive time.

The earth herself might be rocking and rolling with this energy, especially after coming out of the Cardinal Squares of the new moon, now blooming.

Mercury/Hermes at 26* Scorpio is also forming an exact square to Saturn who is also at 26* Capricorn and Pluto who is at 22* Capricorn.

This can make those cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn feel cornered, some may want to

flee or schedule a quick getaway, especially travelling by car.

However, this is also energy to build upon.  Mercury finally comes out of his shadow on November 19^th when he reaches 11* Scorpio again.

Mars stations direct on November 12^th at 15* Aries, having squared Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter along the way, creating cardinal crosses to bear for those cardinal signs or points and for some, it may feel as though it is all too much to bear.  He started this reversal September 9^th at 29* Aries the Ram.  Along the way he also met up with Eris the Destroyer and stirred up many a bee’s nest.

We are not out of the woods yet, who knows what strife Eris and Mars might stir up before they finally stop squaring off with the Titans, Zeus/Jupiter, Kronos/Saturn, and Hades/Pluto. 
Some moved, some are just transforming the places they live, but it is out with the old and in with the new in many cases.

As Saturn and Jupiter inch closer to their upcoming square to Uranus that will be exact next year in January and February, let us hope those changes created the new foundations for positive growth in 2021.

I still expect some sort of social net, new relief funds created for those who are hurting and in attempt to re-stimulate the economy as she sputters in the fog of Corona19.  We are not out of the woods by any stretch, expect some delays regarding our ability to get back to full speed ahead.
The Jupiter/Saturn conjunction at 00* Aquarius December 21st all but guarantees this will happen, if not exactly on that day, certainly we will start to hear of plans being put into place.  Cryptocurrency on its way.  (No, I am not happy about this or any sort of transhumanism either).  But that 00* binary code is too blatant for any astrologer not to see, as I have been saying for over a year now.

Hopefully, you are taking this time to dig deep, do that soul work that you’ve been putting off because you are too busy, and for many, experiencing family and loved ones in new dynamic settings as we spend more time together.

The universe has forced many to stop running here and there, working and eating on the go to actually put down some roots into the earth, re-nourishing and revitalizing their soul and spirit as that shiny light reveals the true worth and meaning of life.  It is the Corona/Crown virus after all, any reader of this blog will have read some extensive word play and connections on that very visual symbiology.  We can only see the corona of the sun, when there is a solar eclipse.  There are your coronary arteries, that crown the heart, and there is the crown or keter chakra, we are literally all living in a global ritual together. for our 'crowning achievements'.

If you are getting stir crazy, it may mean you are running from some incredibly strong power within you, hiding like a boogeyman in the recesses of your being, ready to throw a tantrum to get your attention.  You can run, but you cannot hide.

So buckle up buttercup, expect quite the bumpy road, that will end up in court in some states, eventually working itself out, and of course for some this just won’t ever feel legitimate since only one candidate will win.

But next year, though the economy is going to have a rough go at the start, heralds a new time for people to realize that we work better together and we will need each other to make headway during this delicate transition.

Pray for cooler heads to prevail, even as we navigate disagreement and concern over a broader 

surveillance net being cast that will become uncomfortable and threatening to some freedoms long taken for granted.

We shall see how this all shakes out.

Emotional Upheaval As Luna Wrings Out The Truth July 20, New Moon In Cancer

Emotional Trauma wells up in the dark side of the new moon on July 20^th at 1:32PM EDT when she has caught up with the sun at 28*26’.
She has just finished squaring Mars who is at 12* Aries, (they squared yesterday the 19^th just after 8:30 AM).  Since then she has gathered up the emotional residue that was not completely dealt with from her last new moon in Cancer eclipse on June 21^st at 00* Cancer, so that started this ball rolling and before she squared Mars, she met up with Mercury who is at 8* Cancer, squaring Mars and having just stationed direct on the 13^th at 5* Cancer and all of that is still tapping into that Capricorn stellium, with Saturn having retrograded now back to 28* of Capricorn, this makes for a powerful Tao Cross or T-Square. 
She is back to finish up what she started, always when planets are at 28* and especially 29*, we know something must be finished and learned.

What did not come up and get resolved with that last new moon in Cancer, is now here again, with a bigger cup full of that sadness.
Yup, some of us will feel as if we are up on the cross again, in agony.
Mothers concerned for their children and some of us sensitives, feeling the darkness pouring over the planet ‘in her dark time’ (why we start with the ‘dark side of the moon’, can you hear Pink Floyd?)  Yup, the evil energy is busy at work, conjuring up their gooey oil/elixir to pour over the planet.

Anything to escape with their crimes and entrap us all.

Oh well, enough of all that joy!
Yes, I was deeply saddened today, but I am working through it, using the oils and lighting my candles and essential oil blends, Money Majik and Immune Up, to help push off the negative vibes.

But, like other cardinal signs, some of us are affected more acutely.  Some of us won’t feel this, they are not as sensitive.  Perhaps they have bought into a ‘we are being rescued’ narrative.  We must rescue ourselves.  I keep saying this…

So, for those: Cancers, Libra’s, Capricorn’s and Aries, you may feel this more strongly, or if you have aspects or planets in those signs, especially moon in Cancer people, or early degree Leo’s, this Bud’s for you.

A flower bud, to help you ease the anguish you may now feel.

Get your salts out, soak your feet at the very least, anoint yourselves, even if you don’t have our salts, just take a pinch and put it in the palm of your hand, add a little water and wipe that over your head, gently.

Mercury does not come out of his own shadow until next Sunday the 26^th when he is at 14* Cancer.  The whole time, he is powerfully accessing the cardinal square, as is Mars on the hot handle.  All kinds of ‘blow ups’, ‘temper tantrums’ and ‘emotional outbursts’ can occur.  The planet herself is also going to be straining under the pressure that will blow up like a balloon.

Let us pray for calm and peaceful minds and hearts, light our candles in the rain for our prayers to be heard, as we move forward gingerly into the coming volatile times.
No one would rather be able to write, more peace, love and happiness than me, but I am only the messenger.

All we have to do is wake up to each other and love one another, get our priorities in order, and somehow be kind to one another.

The other salient point (of too many to list now) is that we see the numbers, 7-20-2020, repeating partnership and the power of spirit with two or more are gathered.  Do so, get together and pray with one another.  Please.

So, if you can, please do.  If you can help calm heated emotions, help to put that fire out.
Put on some music (muse-IC) and do your best to lift yours and other's spirits.

That is EXACTLY WHAT I AM GOING TO DO NOW, I started working early this morning and this is the last thing I need (NEED) to accomplish, so I am taking the afternoon off, after working hard all day for many days now, it is not the Lords day of rest, but it is the moon’s so it is fitting for me today on this new moon.

Especially since it is conjunct my own natal moon at the top of my chart which in large part, makes

me want to mother the world and cares so deeply, it is also part of what helps me have my finger on the pulse of the both the planet and her children.

Dancing In the Moonlight As Cancer Tides Are Turning

On Dec 21^st 2018, 5:23PM the Winter Solstice takes place and on that day, we will have sunrise at 7:53am and sunset at 5:18pm, a 9 hour and 25’ minute day.

Henceforth three days from the solstice we will see an increase in daylight, when on December 27^th we will have one extra minute of daylight, the sun rises at 7:56am and sets at 5:22pm, giving us a 9hour and 26’minute day.

The solstice happens either two times in the year, the summer solstice and the winter solstice, when the sun reaches its highest or lowest point in the sky at noon, marked by the longest and shortest days.

The Origin of the word:

Middle English: from Old French, from Latin solstitium, from sol ‘sun’ + stit- ‘stopped, stationary’ (from the verb sistere).

That will be quickly followed as the full moon Dec 22^nd 2018: 12:48 PM at 0* Cancer.  This is a feminine moon, in the sign of the mother so a lot of emotional feelings can surface.

Notice she is at 0* which means it is a time for new beginnings, after seeing what comes to light with the brightness of this full moon illuminating the dark night of the soul, she brings change as the light of the sun increases daily. 

We also have Mercury out of his shadow on Dec 24^th at 13* Sagittarius, so communication will be all around the hearth for the holidays, many will have home parties, rather than go out to bars, restaurants this year.

People may celebrate, feeling as if the shoe is about to drop, the heavy weight of Saturn/EL looming, as the sun soars to meet up with Saturn when both are 11* Capricorn, the day after the new year is rung in, giving a serious tone to the year ahead.

This will be a year of taking responsibility.  Will be sharing predictions for the year ahead in the next blog. 

What is important to know, is that Pluto/Hades, the ‘evolutionary’ planet, is annihilating anything that does not have the integrity or ability to withstand the coming changes in the future.  He has returned to Capricorn where he has not been since the 1700’s…he entered Capricorn on Sep 12, 2009.

Capricorn rules government/authority/old man/regulations/discipline of Saturn.  This is a major transit as we see the heavenly spheres have cooked up quite the times down here on planet earth.  The surface tension is breaking and the energy that held order in place, is now dissolving into somewhat of a chaotic field, which of course a 'new order' will be demanded to replace.

Saturn/EL is coming up behind to reset the pins.  He will rebuild after the great devastation of Pluto and Uranus.  Saturn is the Master Builder.  He can also bring bouts of depression, he is the grim reaper carrying the sickle for the harvest.

Hermes Stations Direct with the Aries New Moon

Lord Hermes Stationed Direct on April 14^th.  Communications might ease up a bit now, but so will the terrible things he held back.  I couldn’t write the new moon blog, because it was still too heavy.

The thing for me, is that I love to learn and know all about life, history, especially language and art.  To really learn or know anything, you have to LIVE INTO THE ANSWERS, as Rainer Maria Rilke would say.  So for instance, I wanted to learn about Animal Speak, how they communicated with us.  Who knew I would end up living in a barn, without running water, but a prime location to truly learn about animals. 
Have you ever heard cats on a hot spring night, er, ‘making love’?

Well, if you are woken from a deep sleep in the middle of the night, by Raccoons that live above you, doing the same thing…you have no idea!  Talk about scaring the living daylights out of me!  I grabbed the nearest weapon I could find, a handy broom and began stalking the place, looking for openings and fixating on the crawl space opening, sure they would barge through at any minute with all the screeching and thumping going on.
I didn’t clean off the spider web when I was preparing the space to move into either.  I negotiated with the mice, who liked to eat the filters on my cigarettes in the middle of the night too.  (Yes, I smoked back then).

All of that pales in comparison to learning what the ‘crosses’ in astrology actually meant.  Because I have a critical 13* degree Libra sun that was nailed on those crosses the last decade.  So, I write about that.

Today, in conversation with a client/friend, she told me of a difficult situation that she is now enduring, and a woman who told her: ‘Life never gives you more than you can handle’.  I am sure the woman was well-intentioned, but what she and many others who glibly parrot those words, don’t realize is just how cruel that actually can be to say to someone.  Almost as bad if not worse, than the’ just bless it and let it go’.

When you are LIVING IN THE PAIN, words like this are hurtful…more guilt for not being all ‘positive’ in the face of a difficult time.

This new moon, which began her new phase on April 15^th at 9:57 PM EDT, has some good aspects, there will be some light poking through for those who have been having a hard time, yes some are oblivious and having their own grand time, but for some this has been anything but an easy time.

You can’t, ‘not focus on the bad and wish it away’, like a child.  Not if you are even trying just a little bit to consciously evolve.  Don’t worry, though I have been saying this for over a decade now, a lot of others are finally coming to the table with this truth.  Guess with things the way they are, they are realizing that steady drum beat of ‘destroying the earth at our own peril’ is finally coming home to roost.  Not soon enough.

Oh well, I only know how to share the truth, even though it has cost me dearly.

Just before Lady Luna teamed up in her darkest hour with her Solar paramour, she made an exact square to Vesta, Saturn/EL (Lord of the Rings) at 9*, Mars/Ares (the war planet) at 16* and then to Pluto/Hades (death and transformation/rebirth) at 21* Capricorn, and of course only hours later she will bring the burning fury of the sun to Uranus who is at 28* of Aries, readying to ingress into Taurus on May 15^th.  Did I mention, these are squares?  Squares are not comfortable, they FORCE US TO DO THINGS, THEY FORCE WORDS OUT THAT HAVE BEEN BURIED MERCURY (ESPECIALLY AFTER BEING RETROGRADE AND ONLY STATIONED DIRECT THE DAY PREVIOUS), EMOTIONS IN THE CASE OF THE MOON, PASSION AND DRIVE IN THE CASE OF ARIES, STRUCTURE, LESSONS, LIMITATIONS, THE FATHER OR OLD MAN IN THE CASE OF SATURN AND WITH PLUTO, IT COULD BE ABOUT TAXES, INHERITANCE, INSURANCE, SEX, DRUGS, AND LITERALLY, LIFE AND DEATH.

So, no…I was not all ready to write about the new moon. 
There is good news in the middle of this, whatever you have managed to hand onto, keep building during these times, and has weathered the storms, is probably a pretty solid bet that will grow, if not without hard labor and effort, but it will prove to be a pretty solid bedrock in your life.

Relationships that have been tested, and survived, will most likely find themselves on good footing, even if it is not the most romantic variety, it will have proven even more valuable…’STABLE’ AND ‘TRUE’.

These times might make you feel as though you are Sisyphus, almost making it over the hurdles of life, and then sliding back down.  Sometimes it is best just to rest and wait for a better opportunity or timing.

On a brighter note, the sun is actually poking his head through the dreary days of cold and grey, and flowers are rising up to see the sun too.

Take a clue from them, get what sun you can, get that vitamin D cooking and take in a hike, enjoy the world around us, let mother earth know you see Her, you love and appreciate Her, all of life wants to be ‘witnessed’.  To be continued….
