Full Moon In Scorpio Has a Bleeding Heart

Today, the moon waxed into her full brightness in all that Scorpionic shimmery luminosity at 23* at 2:18PM EDT.  First, she glided up to Saturn/El (Lord of the Rings) as he in reverse sided up to her when they met at his 19* of Scorpio.  Like waves cresting they rise up together lifting up the heavy weight of the emotional ballast capsizing the less sea-worthy.

The sun almost feels jealous of the two, sitting in all the wealth and possessions of his Taurean lair, drenched in the decadent trappings of his Venusian dream.

You might ask yourself, if you miss what you don’t have, simply because it isn’t there to have and to hold.  If that one more thing, might just bring the happy ship toward you before it departs for the deeper waters of Scorpio’s abyss.

If you have a cleaner spirit, than you don’t miss what you don’t have, simply because you are enamored with all you do.  You take stock of the wealth around you, knowing it came from within.

Ahh, the pearly gates.  They beckon us towards a shiny, happy people.

But that somber tone from the Lord of the Rings, has laLuna bound and gagged as she drowns in like a tempest in a tea cup.

The Cardinal Cross is moving into a T-Square that still has plenty of tension, as we wait for what seems like the other shoe to drop.

Jupiter/Zeus is moving forward and he isn’t about to look back, and he is taking no prisoners, as those who have decided to use an exit strategy, drift away like sail boats into the horizon, leaving the rest of us to fill up with the moon, and fall into that sorrowful longing, knowing each day will bring a reminder of what we had, and what we will now miss.

I lost two sisters already to the horrid disease that has ravaged far too many, and whose name I will not dignify with a capital c.

I look at their pictures, and see them drifting away, imagine the horrible pain that sat inside their chest as they were eaten alive, far too young.

In a retreat space in New York, the birds were singing, leaves greening around us and sunlight shaking

sparkly showers through the branches; I sat with about a hundred people or so, who had all made our way down the path to the clearing with the rows of benches we now found ourselves gathered together upon.  We were expecting a seminar to take place, and enough of us had made the mistake of believing it was to happen shortly.

As the time ticked on, we started to look around and realize, we might not be experiencing any such thing.  So many disappointed heads, turned downward and expressions that matched.

One of the people in the group I was with, said, ‘Glo, get up and sing a song’.  When others heard this, they turned and started the chorus of appeals for me to sing.

I accommodated and stood up and sand a couple of songs A cappella, to a rounding and raucous bout of applause and appreciation.

Afterwards, a somewhat distinguished looking woman approached me and told me how surprised she was at how good I was.  “It was as if you were channeling another life” she told me.  I stated that perhaps it was me tapping into my journey beyond this world, when I died so many years ago and returned.

She told me that her father told her, that once you go, that is it, no memories and people all forget about you.  I was shocked.  Dumbstruck really, that someone would say something even remotely like this, let alone repeat it as if it was now fact.

I have been visited by all the people that I love who have crossed over, in dreamtime and in the waking state.  They have all helped me in some form or another and let me know they are still with me.

But with all of that, I still miss them all in the physical world.  My sister Barb will never drive up in her silver car and I will never hear her laugh as if she has stopped breathing….because she did take her final breath.  Even though I was with her, as was my entire family to help her cross over, and I am grateful that we know how to take someone to the River Styx and wave goodbye as they are welcomed into death’s loving embrace; I still miss her.

I still miss my sister Kathy’s sweetness, that caring person who would drop by out of the blue with some odd gift, all of which I still have, because she couldn’t help herself.  She thought of me and wanted to share something.  But, I am achingly glad that the pain of her world has ended, and that she has found comfort.  But my heart still aches like a lead balloon that I will never be able to swallow.

We all know our parents will go, hopefully for their sakes; they go before their child, which was not the case with my father, who had to outlive his oldest girl.  I will always be able to see his eyes, looking right to my soul every single time, and finding a way to warm me up and make me feel as though I was so special, that his life depended on what I had to do in this world.  Of course, he had that effect on a lot of people.  But that doesn’t change the warmth and charm of his Leonine wit, smile and love.

And I won’t ever be able to replace, my dear friend Marcella/Esmeralda, who was my go to person to confide in and ask for advice.  Always delivered with assurance and a healthy dose of unthinkable humour, she could bounce a thought off the wall quicker than bullet, and it always went straight to the heart too.

This month, my good friend Robin saw her father off to the other side, I am glad I got to enjoy his boyish flirtations, and hope he found the youth he seemed to believe he still had in our exchanges.

The list is long, it gets longer as I get older, and I cannot go through all the souls my life has been blessed with, who have gone on…ships into the sunset.

Their sales grow smaller and smaller, until at last, the good sweet earth parts her skirts and takes them in, the sweetness wafting around you like a parting bouquet.

These squares, crosses and blood moon eclipses will bring down the elevator, and many will get on to take that final ride.

This full moon, isn’t quite so lusty as a Scorpio Full Moon can be, not with the leaden weight of Saturn/El making sure that she never forgets, time waits for no one.

Finding the buried treasure to walk with Pluto

 If we are going to find our way through these times, we will need the best tools available; the ones that nature has provided.
Think of what Pluto (Hades) rules, the treasures buried inside the earth.  So what we need, are the tools that have an affinity with the earth.
In the case of Aromatherapy, Essential Oils, we want Root Oils.
This is a little information on one of them.

Vetiver (Vetiveria Zizazinoids)

Vetiver’s root strength has been tested as being equivalent to one-sixth that of mild steel, according to an article at the website: www.vertiver.org.  So strong are the roots, that they are called; ‘Living soil nails’ or dowels that can pin soil together.  The roots have been recorded at depths of 6 meters which is almost 20 feet! (19’  8 ¼”)The roots are capable of punching through hardpan and weathering rock, which improves the drainage.

The common name in Hindu/India is Khus or Khus Khus, or Khas Khas where it is the native plant.  The other common name of Vetiver, comes from the southeastern region of India, Tamil or Sri Lanka, which is the non-flowering type.

Long used in ritual and medicinal purposes in India, Vetiver roots were known to be fragrant, especially upon wetting the often interwoven roots.  As a ritualistic or magical use, water pots with dried Vetiver powder, Khus Khus were kept outside of Temple doorways, to cleanse the hands and feet before entering.  Vetiver was known to have fungicidal properties also, so there was the added bonus.

Woven into rugs “tatties” or screens that hung over window and doorways, once sprayed with water, the sweet fragrance would be released and create the calming effect the “Oil of Tranquility” is so well-known for.

Because of its amazing drainage and soil erosion resistance, it was traded and cultivated throughout the Middle East and into China; Also known as, ‘usira’, ‘Virana’ and also ‘bala’.

Even before the Civil War, Vetiver found its way into Louisiana where it was still occupied by the French.  Used in sachets that were kept with clothing, the magic of Vetiver repelled insects, mildew and other pests.  It became known as the ‘Original Scent of New Orleans’ in the popular men’s fragrance, “Kus Kus”.

The highest quality is known as ‘Bourbon’ Vetiver, so named from the royal family who lived on Reunion Island, where an exquisite distillation of Vetiver was produced.

Vetiver has a deep earthy scent and is an amber color that turns deeper brown as it ages; which improves the quality, though it becomes more viscous.

It is similar to Patchouli with various overtones, sometimes said to have a hint of citrus to it, but not as spicy or crisp as Patchouli.  Upon inhalation, Vetiver travels deliberately if deeply as it falls into the system like slow moving molasses.

Playing the baritone strings of the body, it circulates, as all notes sphere-like; travelling energy fields that affect the system first, by plucking the similar notes/strings of vibration.

Vetiver calms the mind, anchoring the root chakra deep into the earth, like the very roots itself.  As this spirit of Vetiver journeys into the limbic system and the being; Safety and nurturing envelope the soul; this provides a gently caring environment conducive to emotional security.

The roots are steam distilled, in a slow alembic process for top quality grades, such as those ArcAncient provides. 

As a base note, it is also often used as a fixative in perfumes (Oriental).

As stated previously, it has anti-fungal properties, which make it useful in almost any foot preparation.  It is used to calm over-heated emotions and has been used for heatstroke in Ayurveda; even the scent coming off the wetted woven grasses used in India, have been used for centuries for just this purpose.  This is also beneficial for fevers and to calm ‘IN-FLAME-AT-ION’ or inflammation. 

Since we know that Arthritis is ‘inflammation’ [Arthritis (from Greek arthro-, joint + -itis, inflammation; plural: arthritides) is a form of joint disorder that involves inflammation of one or more joints] we can see how it can be beneficial.

It is beneficial to the endocrine system, helping estrogen and progesterone difficiency.

This makes it a perfect oil to use for hormonal issues; especially helpful for Premenstrual Syndrome and menopause.  Again, think of turning/cooling down the ‘heat’ in hot flashes.

Full moon eclipse November 28, 2012

So we are at the gateway now, this full moon eclipse follows the the new moon solar eclipse we just had on November.

Well, we are flying at light-speed into this full moon eclipse at 6* of Gemini on Wednesday, November 28 9:46AM EST. Do you feel like you could explode somehow? With the New Moon solar eclipse we had on November 13 in Scorpio that happened while Mercury was retrograde after just crossing into Sagittarius we had quite the little powder keg brewing. Moon eclipse majik So let’s start with Mercury going retrograde on November 6 at 3* of Sagittarius. That first wave out of Scorpio and into the teacher/healer washed onto our shores a whole lot of Scorpio energy after transiting through Libra and finally conjuncting Saturn/Lord of the rings and EL himself who spent a long time as the great judge bringing up issues of fairness and balance. Well, when Mercury entered Sagittarius, he washed all that deeply buried Scorpio energy onto the airwaves which also means our own consciousness and lives. We saw on the world stage, the exposure of pedophiles such as Jerry Sandusky who was sentenced 30 to 60 years for sex abuse after we heard tearful and anguished victim statements and a parade of guilty cover-ups from the very top of the hierarchy. We see the sex scandal coming out in the UK after explosive evidence regarding Jimmy Saville and all those connections. Those are just a few examples of what we will see regarding this issue; expect more as Saturn transits through Scorpio bringing up all the old issues regarding sex, abuse and whether a woman has the right to choose or is that something she doesn’t have the right to decide? Now that Mercury has gone direct, the communication will start to flow again, our cars should be happier with us, and those little trips might not turn into great big runarounds that seem to go nowhere. Our computers and printing equipment should work normal again, and those little issues that may have cropped up between our siblings might find a way to peace again. I will be writing a lot more about this, but I wanted you to know that we need to take a moment and take a breath and reconnect with God. Go back into God’s loving arms and remember that even when we might not feel as though there is any support, and we are on our own, God has been gently guiding us all along. Yes, we have to go through some tough stuff; we have to clear out that sediment that has been choking us from the deep. The murky blob that has been buried and hidden has to be brought to light and when that happens, the way can become cloudy and less clear. But then, after the storm rages through, and chaos erupts, the sun comes out and a new day prevails. In the meantime, we find a deeper and abiding spirit, those that came to us and gave us a hand, an ear or arms to fall into. Those that understood our less than diplomatic exchanges, and gave us the space, the silence or the comfort we each and every one of us need from time to time. We found our humanness…and that human next to us that is frail and trying to find their way too.  Remember that we all need to be forgiven and the only real judge we are told to accept is the Lord.  So, if you can, find it in your heart to let some prayer and love wash over and cleanse any wounds that may have been ripped open in the past few weeks.  See if you can create a calm conversation about what may have transpired and find some place in the middle you can both meet. “Be kind, everyone is fighting a hard battle” ~ Plato Sometimes, we don’t have it in us. The holidays can bring pressures and added to the astrological configurations and energy, which can become a real pressure cooker. Now, there are also some of you that may have found your strength, your peace and became that port in the storm, the lighthouse for others to find their way lest they be dashed upon the rocky shores in the storms of their own lives. Sometimes with all of this evolving...we expect more of ourselves and others and forget that being human...and then fall into the false light....of 'pretending or thinking we are more evolved' and then reality thumps us on the head with a Scorpio Mercury Retrograde backing up into this full moon in Gemini. Being evolved doesn't always mean being 'nice' and 'perfect' there is an awful lot of nature that would disprove that theory and who can argue with God’s work? We are all learning, doing our best and walking each other home. Judging that walk.....is not so evolved. It can find us playing a little god. Now, we see Mars has caught up to Pluto and they are exact conjunction in Capricorn at 8* and Pluto was already in it square to Uranus in Aries at 4* (some astrologers would not consider this past 3*, I do since it is still accessing the energy of the square and Uranus is retrograding) which is backing up into Pluto and that motion makes a dipping, retrograde always reminds me of sticking an oar in the water and watching the water swirl around and the feeling of resistance the water makes on the oar. Anyway, that Mars/Pluto conjunction is Mars activating Pluto, since Mars is the original ruler of Scorpio they are fond of each other.   Mars rules Aries, so it is accessing that square from Uranus (sudden changes and developments) and the energy of WAR. While Mars conjuncts Pluto (God of the underworld and hanging out at the edge of our solar system, cold and distant….leaving us as the universe expands…he carries our hidden desires and the energy of mafia/clandestine power groups all hidden from sight), but busy, busy, busy right now with this activation.  We can be sure that plans are going on behind the scenes, regarding war….strategies…and the power of ‘currency’ in the form of both atomic and financial means….where is the money and how will the powers that be finance their plans? After dragging all that hidden muck up, Pluto wants to control it and in Capricorn…it is all about the power and the hierarchy fighting over who is on top. With Saturn, good old EL sextiling Pluto AND also in a conjunct to Venus in Scorpio the mutual reception of Saturn and Pluto will funnel into Venus and Venus in Scorpio is PASSION, but also can be very vengeful if she feels as though she has been crossed…so be careful of feeling the need to ‘pay back’ some nasty energy or action you may feel someone has done, and try and remember that is where ‘they are’….but you also don’t have to be a doormat either. Venus wants to push the boundaries and especially while they are both trining Neptune and Chiron on Pisces, the water is being moderately controlled by Saturn, learning and or teaching us boundaries and how to manage passionate feelings that everyone has a right to, whether they are on the same page or not. Neptune conjunct Chiron, still has us healing old wounds and especially those of the karmic sort, from many lifetimes ago, and many distortions that religions have obfuscated the truth with, and how we are trying to make sense as the veil thins and the walls come down. If we look at the placement of the Moon, she is in talkative Gemini which is also conjunct Jupiter so expansive emotions again, and wanting to feel good, but hey, that is not only opposing the Sun in boisterous Sagittarius, but squaring Neptune and Chiron in Pisces while also forming an inconjunct to Venus and Saturn, so this is uncomfortable as she partially hides in the eclipse. Once again, we find the area of secrets bubbling up to the surface like a pot of festering crude rising up through the illusions of clear water and happy days. Casting a lingering darkness like clouds gathering on the horizon, forces are marshaling together and we can feel it, but we cannot determine exactly what the outcome will be. Nor can we really put our finger on what and who, until they squeeze out those who will take the fall….Once again, there is an element of the female being controlled and held down while Jupiter is trying to expand her, so can we feel that energy pushing us to the walls like being inflated with distressing compressed air? We will see on the world stage, females being ‘held hostage’ or taking a beating. Someone has to take the wrap so to speak, and it will be women. On the super good side to manage this energy, we have the Trine from Uranus in Aries to the Sun in Sagittarius, so use your creative and inventive ideas, come up with new ways of ACTION and new ways to activate your own spirituality, but make sure it has its bases deeply rooted in the truth and keep it on the straight and narrow path of the archer, so FOCUS your creative truth, what is uniquely you?  What gift or talent can only you do?  Don’t doubt yourself….just DO IT! Use that trine from Neptune and Chiron in Pisces to Saturn and Venus in Scorpio to soften the edges and make music, art and passionate love in complete abandon. We also have those nice sextiles from Venus (exact) and Saturn to the Mars/Pluto conjunction, so again, we have a nice way to love the transformation…so what is the way?  THE HEART.  The more we can organize ourselves and discipline and focus that love from Venus we will find that Mars activating Pluto can be complete redemption. So walk into your Emerald City, smell the roses or buy some and put them on the table or altar. Recall the loving moments and set your sails to the winds….with a clearly defined path to your dreams….act on them and don’t let the storm clouds on the horizon or the faint sound of war drums cause you to remain tied to the dock, or shiver in your boots.  Believe in the magic of your soul and use your prayers to energize your actions and paint the world of your sweetest imaginations.  So, here are the specials: Now, give thanks….what are you grateful for? New moon in Libra and Saturn's entry into Scorpio

On Monday October 15, 2012 7:04AM we have a new moon in Libra at 22*.

Let us remind you that this is the marriage of the male and female energies and the start of a new monthly energy/cycle.

So what is going on with the stars and how will this affect us?

We recently had Saturn (Lord of the Rings) leave its long sojourn through the same sign, Libra after almost 3 years.  Saturn entered Libra on October 30, 2009 so you can look back to that time to sort of get a guideline as to how he affected you.

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn and the 10^th house; he demands justice and is lord of karma.  As Chronos he is the ruler of time and his day is the 7^th day of rest, Saturday the Sabbath.

He wants you to learn order and he rewards those who work hard, but he also wants to remind us to rest.  Which of those did you find yourself doing the most of?  Because in Libra, he wants the balance of his rulerships; to gain a good measure of how long we invest time into the different aspects of our lives.

He asked us how much value we place in our relationships (Libra’s rulership) and we paid the price for where we didn’t place enough time and energy or we were rewarded for the people and aspects of our lives we did invest our time and energy.

Have you reinvested in current relationships or cut out those that no longer serve you?

Have you considered the amount of energy either you or your partner invests into your world together?

He demands justice in the sign of Libra because he is exalted in Libra.  In Libra Saturn has a symbiotic relationship and functions at his best.

I went into some detail about this because it has to do with the new moon in Libra.

This will be the first new moon in libra, which directly follows Saturn’s long journey through the sign that ended on October 6^th when he entered Scorpio.

This will bring up the last vestiges of that sojourn and the aforementioned issues to bring closure and acknowledge the lessons you have learned, because above all, Saturn is a teacher.

Saturn’s element is lead, so depression and tiredness can come with a transit.  What that lead wants is to be alchemized into a higher element.  The depression is there to make you dig deep; the tiredness can mean you needed to slow down from a hectic pace.

See how this is about balance?  Have you found your buried treasure?

If not, he will be sure to teach you in a more instructive manner the next time…..(you don’t want that, believe me).

 

With Saturn’s new entry into Scorpio, we can expect a lot of revelations to come out; secrets long buried will find their way into the headlines and out onto the stage of life.

There will be a lot of deviant sex scandals that will break, (we see the harbinger of that with the recent Pennsylvania State University scandal) but we can expect much more to splash across the headlines.

We will also see the rise of those who have taken a fall in the past.  This could be you too.  If you were one who found yourself taking a back seat or hiding  a bit over the past few years, it is highly possible for you to feel reinvigorated and ready to face the world again.  Ofcourse, where this took place in your own chart personally, would have a lot more reliability and information as to what that means for you.

If you are one of the cardinal signs or had planets or placements in the signs of: Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn, you would have felt this more strongly and active in your life.  This would also affect those cardinal house transits too.

 

We will see the phoenix rising with Saturn in Scorpio but we will also see the endings/deaths of long time trends, people, stars, agenda’s, etc. over the next two and a half years with the transit.

 

We can expect to see the birth of new idea’s, new forms of law especially regarding Estate Taxes (I expect to see a major overhauling in this area).

This is often the time people actually end relationships legally too.  So some of you might see either a readjustment with finances and estate planning together; wills being redone and revisited, if you did the work on your relationship the past few years, or the actual finalizing of your disillusionment.  This could mean the dissolving of the marriage or business partnership.

 

Now we will review the idea of how we view sex in our lives.  It will come front and center on the world stage too. 

We will also undergo a large overhaul of taxation, we can expect a lot of discourse on the subject and just what is fair and where does the money go anyway?

 

You may have your own experience revisiting a tax issue, how you file and what you deduct.

 

If you are a Scorpio, expect some of the aforementioned experiences regarding Saturn and your own world.  Here comes karma!

When Saturn was in Libra, he was squaring Capricorn, where Pluto the transformer and ruler of the 8^th house is now traveling.  Pluto has been preparing Saturn’s entry into Scorpio where Saturn will lay down the law.  Saturn was also squaring Uranus first in Virgo/the house of health and order starting late in 2008 (On Election Day to be exact) and then in Libra on and off.  So those cardinal signs really saw some heavy duty times of change.

 

OK, we are also still in the energy of the Pluto in Capricorn square from Uranus in Aries and that will only be exacerbated by Saturn’s transit into Scorpio wanting to take down the guise reveal the house that jack built is a bit top-heavy.  We shall see the power brokers squeal and writhe, bluster and recoil as they search for ways to pull the covers over their sordid affairs.

This will only continue as we have mentioned in previous posts, the Uranus/Pluto squares will last into 2015 and the shift will come as Saturn enters Sagittarius for the new slate that the Scorpion energy will bring.  Will Uranus win out and show us the new way of Plutonic energy or alternative and inventive means? 

We also have a square from Mars at 5* Sagittarius to Neptune who has newly entered Aries. Mars is going to continue to ram into this higher octave of love and at its excesses illusion and dissolution until it busts open the damn that has been holding back the gooey slick hiding our true spiritual heritage.

Expect a lot of posturing and demanding from the Church….while the protests continue to demands of their own.  ‘Thou dost protest too much’ will take on a whole new meaning by the time this is over.

In your own lives, this transit will ask you to look for any dogma that you may have pulled over your own hypocrisy.  Are we our brothers’ keepers?  Do we say things that sound good, but walk a different walk when it comes down to it?  Neptune wants to live in a fairy tale world sometimes, but Mars in Sagittarius will not allow this to go on without a serious public display of morality and virtue at its most basic level.  No more simple high and mighty dismissive, this aspect wants ‘exposure’.                            Photo crop circle: (Saturn's Cube can we say dimensions and hyper dimensions?)

 

We have one more square from Jupiter at 16* ` to Venus at 14* c and with Jupiter expanding the chatty aspect and again the emphasis on electricity we see the charge to the virgin/earth and a difficult relationship with details while Jupiter squares off with the Venusian love planet we may see some disagreements about how we spend money, cars and travel as well as some sibling issues coming to the forefront.

The whole point will be to come clean, get real and learn how to communicate and consider our goals and our needs.  Saturn took a long time to teach us just this, and this new moon will be our first test to see if we pass or fail.

On the world stage, we will find our politicians doing the two-step around the issues and budgets that WILL be overhauled.

 

Is it too late to now sound like we should run for cover?  Because we shall see that is not going to happen.

 

We have a lovely trine from Mars to Uranus at 5* Aries.  This is exact and on the money so it holds mucho power.  We can expect some interesting discussions and possible new discoveries or revelations about alternative energy.  You might find yourself a bit more energetic and wanting to run into the world with both arms open.  Sagittarius is restless and with Mars rocking her world, it will be too much energy to simply sit and watch the world go by, no this one wants ACTION.

 

Our old friend Saturn is also trining Neptune too, so the doors to the structures are about to swing wide open and we can expect some real headway with spiritual pursuits, as long as they are authentic.  Saturn doesn’t allow ‘pretense’ so it will support Neptune’s higher octave of acting from a place of true love and compassion.  Do you see how the universe gives us both what we need to grow in the difficult aspects as well as the good?

 

Now, the new moon:

At 22* we are in the third decan of Libra which is ruled by Mercury.

This is the analytical part of Libra but she is also a social creature here, so expect your social chart to fill up quite rapidly during this new moon.  Have fun keeping up with everyone who wants you to make an appearance at their special event.

 

We have a lot of planets in the early degrees of signs right now, so a lot of changes are in the works and this new moon will have us analyzing just what the right changes are necessary among the options possible.

 

Set out your Green and Blue candles and put into place the actions necessary to reinvigorate and invest into partnerships that you are ready for the long haul in.

 

It is also time to plant some bulbs that you want to come up in springtime, when the moon is full in Libra in April.  This will be when you can expect to see the bigger picture of what you plant now.  Of course we also see the quicker results at the full moon at the end of October, but the bigger plans will manifest in April of 2013.

This will be true of the elections this year too.

 

On that note, we will have Mercury going retrograde on election night, so expect a long night and quite probably a disturbance or disagreement regarding results.  I will post more on that at a later time, since so many planets will be retrograde at that time and below the horizon, there will be a lot to talk about.
