The Essential Component of Ester

Essential oils are made up of different chemical compositions.

This brief article will touch on one of them~ Esters.

Essential oils such as Lavender, Geranium, Bergamot, Clary Sage and Petitgrain have higher ester contents in their chemical composition.

 In chemistry, an ester is a chemical compound derived from an acid in which at least one –OH group is replaced by an –O–alkyl group. Usually, esters are derived from a carboxylic acid and an alcohol.

The German chemist Leopold Gmelin was the first to give the name Ester to molecules with the –COO functional group.

Glycerides, which are fatty acid esters of glycerol, are important esters in biology, being one of the main classes of lipids, and making up the bulk of animal fats and vegetable oils. Esters with low molecular weight are commonly used as fragrances and found in essential oils and pheromones. Phosphoesters form the backbone of DNA molecules. Nitrate esters, such as nitroglycerin, are known for their explosive properties, while polyesters are important plastics, with monomers linked by ester moieties.

Esters are formed from alcohols and acids, and are named after both their original molecules with the alcohols dropping the "ol" and gaining an "yl" and the acids dropping the "ic" and gaining an "ate".

The esters found in essential oils are normally very fragrant and tend to be fruity and their therapeutic effects include being sedative and antispasmodic. Some esters also have anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties - like the anti-fungal properties in geranium oil.

The most well-known ester must be linalyl acetate, which is found in lavender and clary sage.

Even though, a chemist may identify (most) of the chemical components that nature combines to make up the oils, using gas chromatography for instance, the best chemist CANNOT reproduce an identical oil, using the exact same chemical proportions. This replicated oil will not have the same therapeutic effect as the natural and pure essential oil. Science cannot replicate the brilliant mystery of Mother Nature, using the best minds and advanced technology available.

Lavender essential oil, for instance, can be used to successfully treat burns, as was first re-discovered by René-Maurice Gattefossé, a French chemist who used lavender essential oil when he suffered severe burns in his lab in 1910.

Of this he wrote, “In my personal experience, after a laboratory explosion covered me with burning substances which I extinguished by rolling on a grassy lawn, both my hands were covered with a rapidly developing gas gangrene. Just one rinse with lavender essence stopped the ‘gasification of the tissue’. This treatment was followed by profuse sweating and healing began the next day.” Gattefossé’s Aromatherapy, 1937.

But even if the best chemist using all the correct chemical components, such as borneol, terpineol, lavandulol geraniol and linolol, they would NOT have the secret formula that could successfully treat burns.

In fact, you cannot make up lavender essential oil in a laboratory, you will not have an oil that can successfully treat burns, reduce inflammation or calm you down, the way that true lavender oil can. You could even cause harm.

According to Jeannie Rose, it is the Lavendula Angustifolia that is grown in higher altitudes that has the best medicine that is distilled into the lovely and fragrant essential oil that most Aromatherapist suggest for use.

Essential oils are Organic compounds and are all hydrocarbon molecules.

These are further classified as terpenes, alcohols, esters, aldehydes, ketones and phenols, oxides, etc.

Prescription From An Angel, ArchAngel Gabriel Encounter

We are in the critical time, when we MUST BRING FORTH, that which we came to give birth to, to midwife, to be born through us on this planet.  No more waiting.

If something irritates you where you are or in what you do, be the change agent, or find those who will help you give birth to that place.  Which character are you in the play?  The idea?  The generator?  The structure/organizer?  The motivator?  The activator?  The person who puts it into play, action?

To answer some of these questions, I recall one of my angel visits, and that life-lesson that changed my own life completely.

It was at my third workshop with Jeannie Rose and Barbara Bobo, and some other wonderful teachers.

We were all sitting around the table, up in Barbara’s barn (about 27 women or so).

Jeannie had just finished teaching about Helichrysum… (helio’s ‘sun’ and chrysum ‘to anoint’) and she was distilling Geranium (Pelargonium Graviolens) and describing the healing properties.  Among the many healing properties, she started to describe the healing powers for internal sexual organs.
I was a gasp.
As she described the properties…I couldn’t help myself, I said out loud,
"But you can’t actually heal the ORGAN, THAT IS INTERNAL?”
(I was thinking to myself, I can understand relieving pain, helping breathing, headaches, sinus…all of that made easy sense to me.  But not an internal organ?  I already had a hysterectomy…which meant that I would not be able to heal, it was already too late for me.)

As I said that out loud, about half a dozen women turned and looked at me, and said: “Yes, you can!”….

I recoiled

I began to shake as the tears were fighting their way out of me…I got up and went outside...I began heaving and sobbing.
I was so hurt.

How could this be?  How could something over 5,000 years old be available to heal me naturally?  Yet…NO ONE WAS TALKING ABOUT THIS?
What? (This was back in 1994)

I had taken other herbal classes, etc., my first being back in the early 80’s, with the Grand Dame of Herbalism, Hannah Kroeger.

But never did I completely realize that I could heal internal organs, for real, the thought was always more to keep healthy and heal lesser ailments I guess the block was in the name Aroma-therapy?
As I sobbed…a light came upon me, just like the sun coming up over the horizon.  The BRILLIANT LIGHT was the Angel Gabriel.  
I was still so hurt…I objected his urging…at first, but in a matter of seconds, all of those emotions swirled through me…I know it sounds horrid that I would reject an angel at first, but this is just being honest with you, the ache inside of me was too great, but I eventually acquiesced and I accepted the request to share. Gabriel…continued…in a very gentle voice…”Gloria, it might be too late for you, but it won’t be too late for you to help a lot of other women”…
I said, “Okay, if that is what you want me to do God”…(As I have reluctantly done so many times before, often trying to invoke the concept that; "Look at me God, I am sooo not the candidate for you"...and yet....oh well.

I put myself back together and went back into the class, slinking around the back and finding my chair.  After a few moments had gone by, a woman, “Linda Honeycutt-LeGrand” from South Carolina, walked over to me holding a paper to her chest.

She said to me, “Miss Gloria, when you came back in, the angel Gabriel, was holding you, and I drew this picture of him, and wanted to share this with you, if you will accept”…It was a beautiful drawing of the Angel.

She saw him with me.  I was witnessed.  (This same woman would witness with me several things that are extremely profound and which I discuss in my book)…
Anyway…that was it.

It is time to stop calling our life giving ability ‘the curse’…when it is our POWER.

The Blood on Our Hands, Full Moon Eclipse October 8 2014

On September 24^th, at 2:15AM EDT; the Lord and Lady made their monthly visit, this time in Libra at 1*.  Let’s hope that this infusion of energy in harmonious Libra will give us a nice little push off into calmer seas, at least some tempering.  Mercury/Hermes (communication/travel) has been in Libra since the beginning of September. 

We are moving into the fullness of the ‘Hunter’s Moon’, which will be exact on October 8^th, 2014 at 8:52AM EDT.  According to the Farmer’s Almanac, we will be experiencing a much colder and snowier winter this year and she will come in with a bang and leave us in an early spring.  Well, the signs are all around us for an early winter.  The leaves dappling the green canopies with their umber and orange witnesses of the sun’s journey through the summer.  The winds are picking up and bringing us crisp mornings that warm to a cool 60 degrees even with a full lemony sun gleefully walking across the skies as ‘Luke’ (light).

It seems we barely warmed up this summer before we begin our fall into the dark and

long winter nights.  Pluto’s/Hades emergence as he began his movement forward on September 23^rd at 10* of Capricorn the Goat doing his job of spreading dark and dour news.  Worse yet, we are beginning to feel the effects of the dark lord closing in on his next exact square with Uranus, who is retrograde in his journey to square him again on December 15^th when they are both at 12*.

Lady Luna, as she moves into her fullness at 15* of Aries, saddling up to Uranus and as the Golden one forms a T-square to Pluto in his opposition to Lady Luna and Uranus which will magnify the Cardinal shifts, especially those at 10-15* of the Cardinal signs, who will be given deep and profound insights if you are paying attention.

The Moon is once again filling with blood, this being the second of the 4 Blood Moons.  She will be eclipsed by the sun, the male separated from his bride by our home/earth standing between them and this alignment with his bride is a trigger (gateway) that will impact us strongly for the next month, but also for the next 6 months, as we travel down the rivers flowing through this life/death/rebirth cycle.

Pluto, Lord of the underworld is already actively taking loved ones from us, and we shall certainly see more as he drags them like trophies down into his lair, along with Persephone.  I expect to hear of more famous deaths and also, a female who will be publicly held accountable as the fall guy, in a long running scandal that will come to light.

The good news?  The heavens are blessing us with a very lovely grand trine in the fire signs, with Mars/Ares in Sag at 17*, Uranus at 14* of Aries kissing Lady Luna at 15* Aries and gently moving towards Jupiter/Zeus (optimism/bounty) who is at 17* of Leo, we will have motivation and some happy occasions that will come out of the blue.  Aries and Leo’s might find their date card is all full, while they are mesmerized by some moonlit kissing and Uranus magically heightens the emotional cocktail.

Things could get sizzling hot!  (Keep it amorous and don’t let doubts creep in and spoil all the fun, when is the last time you felt this?  Ride the magic carpet ride.)

Up until the 14^th, Pluto/Hades is on the handle of the T-Square, so our issues of death/treasures/taxes will remain on the front-burners, with the Solar being in Libra at 15* conjunct Venus/Aphrodite (love/partners/harmony) pouring some caution and compassion into this mix; by the time Luna moves into Cancer on the 14^th/15^th we will see the Grand Cross once again light up the heavens (even though the Uranus/Pluto

square is not exact right now), we WILL experience some very powerful events, some of which may certainly be in the form of earthquakes, volcano’s and powerful storms; but also in the form of political events and social unrest, while we may see some interesting agreements being cobbled together in the process.  Still, the drum beat has become a very loud death rattle already, and none of this is going away until the last Blood Moon on September 27^th of next year, and who knows how benevolent the gods might care to be?

It is during these times, that we forge our strongest vessels, capable of holding even deeper truths, but we are living the world of our own hands.

This Hunter’s Moon, we prepare for our dark stretch, making sure we have nourishment, we must also consider spiritual nourishment.  We are being given very deep insights right now, the noble truths that come in small steps, including in the mundane.  How much does a simple look from someone you care about, stretch down the halls of your memories? 

In this eclipse pattern, take the next five days (especially) to put things in order; what can you cut out of your life?  This eclipse wants us to ‘eclipse’ all of the thoughts, patterns, habits, and really, just anything that has served its purpose (clothes, furniture, etc., too!) physical, mental, emotional or otherwise, and FINALLY JUST LET GO OF IT!  Death to the old patterns that have held us back, personally and collectively.

With the blood moon, is the life giving power to also give birth, we do this when we clean old those old patterns that makes room for the upgraded YOU.

We have Mercury/Hermes retrograde since October4th at 2* of Scorpio and will take us on a review all the way back to 16* of LIbra when he stations direct on October 24^th.   The last time Hermes was at 16* of LIbra was on September 14^th, so what was going on?  Any decisions made since then, communications and agreements may be up for review, or regret, but the lessons learned is the main gift.  What insight has finally lit up your mind and taught you a wise lesson about relating/communicating?  Which agreements may have been made hasty?  Words exchanged that may have taken a kinder route and finally, are you bring truthful to yourself and others?  Is there something you were not forthcoming about?  Remember, when we are truthful to others, we give THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW AND CLEAN UP A FUZZINESS THAT FOGS THE MIND WHEN SOMEONE IS BEING DECEITFUL FOR WHATEVER REASON.  Lying is another form of stealing.

Eclipsing the Midnight Sun, New Moon in Taurus April 29, 2014

In the wee hours of the morning, at 1:17AM on Tuesday, April 29^th, the moon makes its 28 day visit to mate up with the sun.  Lady Luna and the sun will join together at 8* of Taurus.

It will be a partial solar eclipse, which is another lever in the eclipse pattern during the Cardinal Cross. 

At 8 degrees of Taurus, we are talking about possessions, Taurus is “I Have” so this will be largely about what you have, your right to what you have, and this mating by the moon and sun is a sensual mating.  We are in the first decan of Taurus which is ruled by Venus/Aphrodite, who is now at 25* of PIcses.  This is a very determined and loyal aspect of Taurus.  She doesn’t give up easily (If at all) and will plod along patiently working towards gaining those ‘possessions’ she lusts after, or de-SIRES.

With an orb of 4* they are travelling with Mercury/Hermes who is now at 12* of Taurus. 

But let’s just take a look at what is happening with the eclipse, shall we?

Here, LaLuna will conjunct or mate with her paramour the sun, and she will stand between the earth and the sun, blocking out the energy of the male light that sustains the earth.

Emotions will either be turned down, repressed or explosive during this transit and into the coming 2 weeks.  Feeling weepy or depressed; or a lack of energy and motivation are all common under such a stressful sky.  Do we really have what it takes to set out after the goals which will bring us towards the desires of what we want?  What do we WANT and NEED?

What will we cast off?  An eclipse always portends an ending (YES, and in this eclipse pattern we are in, this will happen over and over under the very powerful strain of the URanus square to Pluto, but more importantly now, these are Blood Moons under the Grand Cardinal Cross).

So, I remind you of this story:

There is always the death, the small ones along the way and those that take us into the largess of the universe and into the great beyond.  When I died, back in 1976, I was very, very sick.  To say there was pain would be an understatement.  But, the interesting and miraculous thing along the way is the body’s ability to manage pain.  At some point, the pain gives way to the body flooding itself with its own sedatives, which wash away that pain and take you into levels of worlds as you float down the corridor of unconsciousness and into death’s open arms.

I bring this up, since this is what we are also dealing with, the small and large deaths and the release   of endorphins, ("endogenous morphine") which are endogenous opioid peptides that function as inhibitory neurotransmitters. The pituitary gland and the hypothalamus produce these endorphins to overcome pain. They are also released during exercise and excitement, when we eat certain foods, when we fall in love, and during sexual activity.

These peptides resemble opiates in their ability to produce analgesia and a feeling of well-being. You are taken into the delusion that nothing is wrong…because the pain is subsiding.  The food, the sex, the jog in the park; all can take you out of reality if for just one moment, and lessen the pain.

Consider, this first fall of Jesus under His cross. (Station number 3) His flesh is open and bleeding, His head crowned with thorns. As weak as he had become, He could barely walk, still He got up and kept walking and carrying the large and very heavy CROSS.  He was continuously whipped and struck by the soldiers who made His journey all the more painful and difficult, yet He keeps on walking, falling two more times.

So too, as we navigate these times, what once would have been a major shock to the system and to our reality, becomes savoir faire, we keep walking with the CROSS.

As we get over the initial shocks and absorb the reality, our world is changing in dramatic ways, but like the frog in the boiling water, we won’t notice it after the acute moments, as this just another fall with our CROSS, we get up (some sadly, will not get up each time, and will choose to exit the cycle, their own cross too much to bear) and move forward, towards what our DESIRES are drawing us towards.

It should become less strenuous and ominous, as our body floods us with the necessary relievers to help us through the time, save for the moments that will bring us into direct confrontation of the underlying triggers that want attention.

These triggers can motivate us into our better selves, an evolutionary being who ‘is with the father in heaven’ allowing the figurative deaths of our lower nature.  As the snake crawls on his belly (Pluto) his lower nature wants to rape Persephone, to have what he desires.

The snake consumes things whole, as the moon will try and swallow the sun, she is just not big enough to capture the entirety of light, the energy and source, the snake cannot swallow everything either, but the addiction remains, since he is never full.

Our own alimentary canal is our lower serpent, which must be fed to survive on planet earth.

All addictions are some perversion of this need to sate the being with emptiness, from what will never fill the hole, as it gets bigger and bigger with the false illusions (Neptune) of the promise that will never deliver.

Consumption was the name of a disease, which is now called Tuberculosis.

So, we will shed another skin, digest what we can (take into our awareness what we can) and leave the rest for another day.

The wide water trine between Saturn/EL/LORD of the rings retrograde at 20* Scorpio, Chiron/Wounded healer at 16*PIsces, (and Venus/Aphrodite leading in a very wide orb 25* PIsces) along with Jupiter/Zeus now charging full speed ahead at 14* of Cancer; all will be drawing us into submergence and addictive tendencies to handle this stressful time.

We can assuage our troubled minds and hearts through day-dreaming, music, dancing, and some will choose the stronger variety of alcohol, drugs or choose the higher path of meditation, perhaps even mindful exercise.

Nonetheless, Saturn loves the support of Jupiter/Zeus in Cancer, so we might feel that support come from someone in the home circle, or who feels like family to us.

There will be an expansion now in home circles and events, with Zeus lording in the realms of the home, and Cancer is another hoarder of sorts, they like to hold onto things and having their homes adorned with their prized possessions, much like the Taurean, is where they draw comfort.

Be aware that everything is not as it seems, something are as hidden as the sun, with only the edges bending around the emotions that desire, the occlusion won’t be fully known until the moon tries to warn us again, as she waxes into fullness.

The control mechanism trying to keep our emotions in check, will rumble under the surface like the volcano it really is, building up energy and rattling the cages of our beings, making us feel nervous and filled with trepidation. 
This is the first fall, get up when you have rested and listened, hearing the deeper truth that is your own clarion call.

But this is not over, we will fall again, the cross is heavy and we have much to do. 

Sadness may overwhelm some like the dark moon eclipsing the midnight sun, if you have the wings or the light, be kind, and don’t judge those who may fall just as the saviour does, or are you judging Him too?  There but for the Grace of God, go I.

On June 16^th, Mars passes the threshold of the Grand Cross again, squaring Uranus again on the 25^th at 16* having already squared Pluto on the 14^th at 12* because Pluto is in retrograde Capricorn.

What I will briefly recap here is that if you are one of the Cardinal Signs in the degrees between: 11-15 and that is: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn or with planets or aspects in those degrees and signs, you will be the most strongly affected.
Especially, if you are at the critical degree of 13* in any one of those signs.  In later years, 22* and 27* will be hot spots.
Then you are literally 'On the Cross' and that is crucial, especially when you think of what this time represents, as I described in the last post on the Blood Moon, Passover and of course Easter.
Jesus, which means 'Saviour' was hung on Good Friday and rose three days later, which is actually Monday, not Sunday...Sun day would represent the Sun, but Monday, represents the MOON.
That is TODAY!
So the Cross forms exact today at 12:27PM EDT.
Yesterday I actually moved a branch which was from a thorn bush, and yes, I was stuck with a thorn which lodged a piece of itself inside my middle finger on my right hand. Now those of you who know what the fingers represent in Ayurvedic medicine or Polarity, would know that is a fire finger and the right hand would be the male aspect of moving forward.
I won't go into that any further, because the main point is actually that it was a thorn.

There is a sacrifice, a blood-letting...to release the past. Giving birth to your own Saviour.
Being crucified is no picnic, it means you are alone and being offered up as a LAMB.
This ushers in the fecundity of spring and new growth, the blossoming of seeds planted long ago, perhaps lifetimes ago, that were long dormant.
Birth is not an easy time, there is BLOOD and the flow of water...and then there is NEW LIFE.
All life comes from a wounding, and that is of course painful.
I will add right now, that the opposition between Jupiter in Cancer to Pluto in Capricorn may bring further antagonism of the people to governments and authority.
That may splash itself across the world stage from several areas, as people become more and more discouraged with the leadership that they feel may not have their own best interests at heart.  It certainly may also happen here in the states.

Major political actions and seeds will also be set into motion, and with the retrograde planets,

especially a whole stellium starting with Mars, then Ceres and the North Node in Libra (balance and partnership, peace, harmony) leading into Saturn, also still retrograde in Scorpio; what we have is a lot of clandestine operations, things being done on the sly and everything is not up front.
Neptune still ruling the skies in PIsces will make a lot of people who are vulnerable to her ILLUSIONS make decisions that are based on wishful thinking, the seduction of Poseidon is legendary, so please be careful.

I Pray for all of us to lift up our hearts, as the birth happens within us all, to bring another level of awareness, please be kind and don’t be seduced into the material world, with Libra all retrograde, fairness unfortunately may be thrown out for the illusion of success in the material world, and Mercury in headstrong Aries, may cause rash decisions on to of all of it, while the sun is in the stubborn fixed sign of the Bull.
What are priorities?  Remember those who have toiled and blazed the trail before you, respect is part of consideration that could help lead you down the right road.
Mars in Libra retrograde, opposing Uranus in Aries will bring those impulsive actions that YOU WILL REGRET.   Mars/Ares is playing trickster with Mercury/Hermes having recently paired up with him, what they stir up is a whole lot of trouble, so BE WARE!

Now, let us take a deeper look at Pluto/Hades again and consider these aspects and their implications.  Pluto/Hades was awarded the domain of the underground, where he is lord and master.  Cerberus, the three-headed dog is the guardian at the gates of his domain.  He wrestled (raped) Demeter’s daughter Persephone, whereupon he was granted her as consort for 3 months a year (winter) but he was not allowed to keep her every day of the year.  
Without writing an entire Homeric piece, that will give you a little bit background with which to draw upon during this time, where he plays such a pivotal role, albeit for a short time (again).  He is prominent (Pluto/Hades) all through 2022, while he travels through Capricorn the Goat.

Pluto is the god of buried treasure and the ruler of Scorpio and the 8^th house.
He rules sex, drugs and rock n roll, death and taxes.  (The two things we know for sure about living).  Most of all, we should remind ourselves that Hades is POWER!  He is travelling through the aegis of Capricorn right now.  Capricorn the goat (as elaborated more fully in previous posts right here on this blog), rules from the pinnacle, as the goat; is the magician of climbing up the craggy cliffs of both mountains and life.

So, if we consider just those aspects, what we see is the ruler of the deep underground, finding his way to the top of the mountain, from the unseen worlds using his POWER OF TRANSFORMATION to make his way to the very top of the VERY VISIBLE MOUNTAIN TOP.  Saturn/El who is the ruler of Capricorn and TIME as Cronus, is also the ruler of the EL-ite, the EL-ect, or the rulers of this world that are quite visible.  In this one aspect of the whole Cardinal Cross, made up of all of the squares.
The ruling POWER comes from the deep to transform the ruling power on the planet.  This is the phoenix aspect, the snake that sheds his skin to become the new version OF THE SAME ANIMAL.   This is the most pivotal time of this Grand Cardinal Cross, since it is at the critical degree of 13.  We shall see some shift of power, some perception of a newer version or alliance that forms the governments, or what boundaries, rulership, or assemblage will have the visible axis of power.

When we consider the ‘As Above, So Below’ aspect of this, we take the personal ramifications of this very clearly to mean our own transformation, that will be represented on a ‘collective’ level, which is represented by URanus in Aries, which is one of the handles on the CROSS, forming the square to Pluto/Hades.  Ares/Mars is the warrior/militant and URanus is the group, but it is also Lightening, sudden change and brilliance.  Since we have Ares/Mars retrograde in Libra, his passive/aggressive tendencies, will be propelled through the individual and into the world stage.  This makes for rash decisions.
Now, let us return to Hades as the ruler of Scorpio; represented by three different images: The eagle, the snake and of course the scorpion.
Much has been made of Ophiuchus as of late; who is the ‘serpent bearer or handler’.  He stands in the heavens between Scorpio and Sagittarius.  If we see that Scorpio is both the Eagle and the serpent, we know that the Eagle handles the serpent in his talons and can fly above the clouds and storms of life in this aspect of Scorpio.  The snake will shed his skin and transform himself over and over with many lives.  He crawls on his belly and INTO THE UNDERGROUND WORLD OF HADES.  We are told that it was a serpent that whispered into Eve’s ear and seduced her into EATING FROM THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE.
The first question we can ask on a personal level might be: “Where do you hold personal power in your life?”  Do you take responsibility with your own actions, directions in life or do you give up your own power as the victim?  Do you blame the government (Saturn as rulership of Capricorn along with Jupiter as Zeus, king of kings in the 9^th house of world dominion)?
Saturn is responsibility (Now retrograde in Scorpio) and in mutual reception with Pluto in Capricorn.  So, how have you managed your own affairs, your life?  Have you taken responsibility in your own life; to bring you the freedoms awarded ‘time management’.
Okay, now on the world stage, many things have and are being negotiated behind the scenes and will soon take shape in the form of some revealing, how we participate within this transformation will be reflected by the group and individual levels (URanus in Aries) and must be an incorporation of brilliance/genius using new ideas and forward thoughts of technological insights, but in a square to Jupiter/Zeus in Cancer, also must take into consideration the earth/mother in which we live.
We do not have infinite re SOURCES.
So, Mars/Ares in Libra the scales/partnerships will require (And we will be shown some new version of this) creating and taking action forward with consideration of new partnerships.  This will show itself when Mars goes direct on May 20^th. (Or sometime shortly thereafter) when Mars stations direct at 9* of Libra.  (Take this into consideration all of you with planets and aspects at this degree or 7-12 degrees of the cardinal signs).
We also have Saturn still retrograde in Scorpio at 21* (And Saturn will be at the anaretic 29* of Scorpio, trying to finish up his journey of re-building when we have the next Uranus square to Pluto on December 14^th at the end of this year) will station direct at 16* of Scorpio on July 21^st of this year.  At that time, we can expect the new structure to more fully emerge, both on a personal level and on the world stage.  This will ultimately be reconfigured in the next two squares of Pluto and URanus, but we should see some new forms of the world powers emerge onto the stage.
Does this mean war on some level?  It very well could mean this, since the powers are battling for domain over the resources and accesses to those resources on this planet.  Who rules those resources?  Pluto/Hades rules those resources.
Ask yourself this question: Have you transformed some of your more base instincts, selfish and lower aspects into a more golden and higher evolution (see how PLUTO/Hades rules all of these, he is the planet of evolution, see Jeff Greene’s work on both Pluto and Mars for further research) and if you have, the greater the force in the collective will be.
Let us for once and for all, demolish the foolish proposition that aliens came from somewhere millions of light years away and wanted the gold on planet earth.  Now, they somehow took just enough power, to force the humans to mine the gold, using us for slave labor, but then they did not take all of the gold, being that they were so considerate and all.
Humans want gold and greed and power.  Humans are seduced into the shining brilliance that represents the sun, the AU, to adorn themselves and DISPLAY THEIR OWN POWER AND POSITION.  Anyone want a gold toilet?
What humans will do, to fight for the rights, for the ownership of this gold, reveals their character and the weaknesses of the individual, the perforations of the integrity and the lower natures de-SIRE for false illusions.  There is no conscious evolution without the ability to consider the needs of others; this is the role of compassion.
Who can navigate the underbelly of excess and power?
Mercury/Hermes the trickster crosses the RIVER STYX AND is friends with Cerberus. 
Communication, travel, and he is the guardian, the ruler of the CROSSROADS.
He too is in Aries right now at 26*, so a bit head-strong perhaps, but willing to lead (hopefully not MARTIALLING HIS EFFORTS) finishing up this journey and soon to enter Taurus on April 24^th.  Will you go down and meet him at the CROSSROADS?  In the body, Mercury rules the throat, arms and hands, communication and hearing.  It is the CORE of the body along with Saturn ruling the spinal column.
We are in the middle of a major shift of CORE beliefs, how they are communicated and indeed, how we communicate on this planet.  More and more people are experiencing the more subtle communication fields, ESP, intuition and this should continue.  He is the colour Blue, and Robert Johnson became a master of the blues after he met old PAPA Legba at the Crossroads.
We are in the middle of a CARDINAL GRAND CROSS; these are the crossroads of our time, (Saturn/EL) of YOUR time.  Does anyone really know what time it is?
 Where is your power?  Are you a victim or the victor?  How do you manage your TIME AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS?  What old skin will you shed, to emerge into a higher form of conscious?  Leave behind what does not work for you, and rise up out of the ashes, be reborn in your Christed/Saviour self, and SAVE YOURSELF!  THIS IS THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANT YOU ARE MAKING WITH THE UNIVERSE.
