Hades Cross Turning The Depths To Set The Soul of the World on Fire

Happy New Moon Eclipse!

Our lovers, sun and moon are busy getting busy in this eclipse, both of them swimming at 8* of PIsces.  Who else is swimming with them?  Poseidon trolling her hooks at 11* of PIsces, ruling her waters…drowning Mercury who is barely staying afloat, in detriment at 1* of PIsces.  Holy of Holies…impregnation while our lights go out.  Communication?  On the one hand, there will be soft places to land, empath’s will be overloaded but incapable of turning away those who need that soft, listening heart.  Angels abound, while also being very necessary.  The LIGHT and the DARK.

Hermes/Mercury, ruler of communication will also drown in the illusion, submerge yourself fully, don’t come bobbing back up, only to say something you might regret..

 

This T-Cross, With Jupiter now retrograde hanging in the balance of Libra at 22* (power number magnifying relationships) opposing UR-anus electrifying Mars who is also in rulership at 21* Aries, is pushing for CHANGE/REVOLUTION!

The lovely Aphrodite/Venus is also in detriment at 12* of Aries, she is in the opposing sign of one of her domains, she would rather leave it up to Mars/Ares to initiate, so is not comfortable here…AT ALL.  She is all ALL-ONE.

Who is holding the handle to this tension?  Pluto/Hades at 18* of Capricorn.  Yes, the great malefic, has his hands all over this little party.  As if this is not enough of a good time, Jupiter/Zeus is also sesquisquare our Sun, Moon, Neptune stellium… We are adding the aspect of the Square with a SemiSquare Aspect of forty five degrees. This is an uncomfortable relationship between the planets leaving the psyche in distress. These difficult aspects, are also the basis we build upon.  As stated many times before, you can ONLY BUILD WITH THE SQUARE.  So, the discomfort, is meant to be a catalyst to create something entirely new, push us past our normal boundaries and go diving deep into Poseidon’s world.  Imagine Dorothy’s house spinning in a tornado, only UNDERWATER.  Now, she looks out the window to the frightening visions, Hades conjures up her worst fears while Uranus is changing the scene so fast, she only has time to gasp.  She also will submerge so deep, she will find she can breathe underwater. 
Now, during these ‘flashes of insight’ that will flicker in the dark and deep, look there…do you see that shiny pearl there…yes…there it is.  Grab her, hold her close, you have found the light of your soul.

Shining internally from the beginning.

Remember, this whole process has been long in the making, to CREATE THIS OPPORTUNITY, to expose your light on deck.  Shine so others can see who you really are.

Faking will be exposed.  The veil thinning like Arachne’s thread unravelling the curtain.  The mystery’s revealing themselves in a race with our monsters no longer hiding either, because they cannot.  This is also why they are trying to make people fear the ‘other’…the unseen…so they can tighten control before we ‘wake up’ and see the Light of the World.

Don’t forget, we also have EL, Lord of the Rings, Saturn at 26* of Sagittarius, in a lovely wide fire trine (ACTION) to Uranus and Mars at 21* of Aries the Ram.
There won’t be any cannonballs being shot at success now, but slow and steady progress.  We will be asked to return and review this progress along the way this year.  So, the movement is tentative.  The square might make you feel, ‘boxed in’ but jumping from one thing to the other, is probably not the best thing, or expect your feet to get a little fried when they only land in another hot plate.  Remember, this is forming…not formed, save for the seed that you came here with…to plant a future that is going to become more and more exigent.

We are here to plant a new earth, to imprint as best we can, the world we wish for.  It is not the one we have, but the one that is ‘being birthed’.

Get your seeds and bulbs ready.

This is a potent formation to tap into.

Create your vision boards, fertilize and water your fertile earth.

Light your candles that cast back the dark and call in new love.

Remember, these are tender shoots…can’t give them too much exposure, until they have gained strength, don’t go putting your little babies right out there, people are frightened and HUNGRY FOR A NEW VISION, LIKELY TO STEAL OR TRAMPLE ON YOUR OWN, IF THEY HAVE NOT FOUND THEIR OWN LIGHT, they only see their shadow from the light you cast.
This is a CROSS, it is okay to fall, try not to be so hard on yourselves.  Squares are BOXES, it is normal to feel 'boxed in', you have NOT MADE A MISTAKE that you are being punished for, this is a world cross, world squares...how they affect you personally, is designed to activate YOUR GIFT, YOUR LIGHT.  

In one word, this is AN EMERGENCE.  Know that you are being 'birthed' right now.

Be safe.  Be kind.  Be true.

Muddy Waters of the Mars Conjunction to Pluto

The Jewel (Soul) Lost in the Mud  Astro writing: 11.10.2014

The jewel is lost in the mud,

and all are seeking for it;

Now, I would add, that you always have value in the eyes of the Mother too.  Certainly, there are those on this planet, that are so damaged, they cannot show a healthy love for their children, but not so our creator. 
In these times, it may be hard to find our value.  To find worthiness that is true and goes deeper than the superficial world of physicality.  The value of our own pearls may be swimming in the muddy waters in the depths of our beings.  We cannot rescue our own pearls and bring them out to shine, without finding that light within our one true heart.  This light, will cast a soft glow at first on that pearl, your own moon.  The sun and the moon can then give birth to your Adam and Eve.  If we take that deeper look into the waters and see the reflection of the loving creator smiling through the darkness, through the illusion; the likeness and image of the Creator will be smiling back at us and we will become fully human.  We must seek to find.  This is no easy search and becoming fully human is not an easy path.  We already are spiritual beings, what we need to do is to learn to become human.

It is in the grist and the grind, the fires of life that will forge a humanity, and these are just such times.

Mars/Ares rules {WAR, action, energy, blood...and is a co-ruler (the original

ruler) of Scorpio}. Pluto/Hades is the ruler of Scorpio and is death/birth/transformation, the evolution of the soul.

They are conjunct in Capricorn at 11*; which is ruled by Saturn/El/Lord of the Rings, now travelling at 25* of Scorpio, so they are in what we call a 'mutual reception', the energy is now wide, but it is still very potent, and in fact, even more so now, since they have been cooking this up together since way back on October 6, of 2012.

Pluto/Hades had already entered the domain of Capricorn the Goat (my pet goat) on November 28, of 2008 and was waiting for his dispositor (they disposit each other when they are in the signs they rule this way) at 7* of Capricorn when Saturn/El entered the domain of Scorpio.

This of course, is also a handle on the Cardinal Cross being activated, because the moon traversed through the 11* mark of Cancer too.  The moon is the mother, women, female issues, the homeland, nurturing, protecting children, the fluids in your body (humors) and in the earth (controlling the tide, etc.)  She is the ruler of Cancer…and she is in OPPOSITION to this Pluto/Mars conjunction.
We would say at the very least, this is a T-Square, but we also have a wide

aspect to the head of the dragon, the Moon’s N. node (spiritual destiny/purpose) going on at 18* of Libra…yes, this is 7* of separation, but the Cardinal Cross that has been forming off and on, being triggered over and over is HOT and active on this planet.
Now, we add Uranus (UR/ANU; where we get the word ‘annual’ from, the original sky god, ruler of new technology, inventions, science, change, ‘a cutting away’ even as Saturn cuts away with his sickle, and is the ruler of the Age of Aquarius, which we are in the foothills of now, as we shift from the Age of PIsces.)  Uranus is in Aries at 13* of Aries moving towards the an exact square to Pluto/Hades on December 15^th. at 12*.

Now, sitting in between this square, is Neptune/Poseidon (the oceans/oneness/spirituality/horses/chariot/dreams/music) at 4* of PIsces (which Neptune rules) and Chiron (the wounded healer, Percival) at 13* of PIsces.  In the heavenly oceans that surround us, these Titans are moving towards each other and Neptune and Chiron are being squeezed together in all that watery illusion.  This will bring up all kinds of karmic patterns, deep wounds, and is unearthing what is buried, even considered dormant~ like volcano’s, both within us and on this planet.  All of this, while Neptune/Poseidon is large and in charge in his own way, as she is travelling in her own sign of PIsces which he/she rules. It could find you weepy, the floodgates can get flung wide open as the watery depths of our beings are flushed to the surface.  What we think we know, may pass before us as one illusion becomes reality and reality seems like an illusion.  Your dreams may become activated and vivid and lucid for some.  Waking state may seem more like a dream.

There IS A DEEP TRANSFORMATION GOING ON, this is true.  All of this was initially triggered, or set up when we had the first URanus to Saturn opposition way back on November 3, of 2008 at 18* of PIsces and Virgo respectively.

If we look back, we can see that is when so many of the riots and political

uprisings began all over this planet.
There can be lesser and greater degrees of unrest inside of us individually right now.  All that watery energy is being shocked over and over by URanus…and finding the true source inside of you, can be like peeling back the layers and meanings of a dream, one illusion to pull down and see through after the other.
The more one has cleared their own personal world of illusions (IL- Luce-ION, not seeing clearly as the light is dancing on the walls of the ages ‘ion/aeon’, like Plato’s cave); the more the illusions on the world stage will fall, it is much like the child saying the emperor has no clothes or ‘pay no attention to the man behind the curtain’.

2 Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all. [And after they have reigned they will rest.]"

                              
So, the Cardinal signs; Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are all being triggered for very deep and profound changes as both the depths of Pluto/Hades and the vaults of the heavens are opened, everything comes out to haunt us…to pull us…to challenge us to the very core of our being.
This is especially so, if you are a Cardinal sign (activators, starters ‘cardinal…

see the red cardinal popping in a blanket of white snow?...) in degrees: 9* -17* but more so if you are degrees, 11*-15*, this means any planets you have in the cardinal signs are being activated/triggered. (You have to know by sign/house what they are to know on a deeper level what this means for you personally).

Also, those people who are in the fixed signs as Saturn/El is at 25* of Scorpio are all being ‘tested’, responsibility, burdens, karma, relationships, authority, (this is for both the Cardinal and fixed signs) and of course, death/birth cycles…The fixed cross is: Taurus the Bull, Leo the LION, Scorpio the Eagle/Snake/Phoenix, and Aquarius the Angel of man (walking with a pitcher into the house we must follow him/her into (the age of Aquarius) and also the cross that has the flaming swords guarding the gates of Eden…the cross we see on most church altars (without most people understanding its true meaning)…it is Ezekiel’s’ wheel, flaming and spinning with the four heads (four directions/four rivers of life).
This is not to say the mutable signs of: Gemini/Virgo/Sagittarius/PIsces are not being triggered, but we only have so much time, to go into what is a very long explanation on so many levels of what is going on here.
With this energy, expect the old witch hunts to take stage again….an active war against the feminine energy/archetype (compassion, nurturing, comfort, the ecosystem, the fecundity of the earth, deep love) which makes the whole ISIS thing very ironic, personally, I think the name/Acronym is no mistake, it is another obfuscation of a group, that we are told ‘hates women’….it reminds me of the snazzy terms politicians come up with, like Blue Skies (which is an attack on the environment and her blue skies or ‘The Patriot Act’…so we are bring triggered into the ignorance of hating the Divine Feminine).  What do we see in the headlines, but this group savagely beating and killing women (and of course others) but what is the mantra we hear? 
It is flipping the truth of what we need right now…compassion, kindness, integrity, nurturing, caring for the earth, her flowers, seed bearing fruit (MonSatan and others) her Bees!  Mary Magdalene was buried with Bees….what lasts for thousands of years and is one of the most health giving things one can consume?  Honey!  The bees are dying! 
Colony Collapse Disorder….’Colony…Collapse…Disorder...’
And all of this is building another head of steam for the next Pluto/Uranus square exact at 12* on December 14^th.  That will be the second last of the 7 squares…so there was no way…we were going to find order in any way politically or otherwise during these squares, and we add to this cocktail, the Blood Moons, the next one of which is April 4^th, 2015 and the last of which is on September 27^th of 2015.  The last Uranus/Pluto square will be on March 15^th, 2015…so none of this is going to be resolved until AFTER those major transits and aspects occur.
People may feel a nervousness peeking around the edges of their deep insides and even more so for some physically…It is both a hiding and a revealing going on…REVELATIONS.  And this is far from being over.

What we will watch on the world stage can become even more confusing in all of this soupy mix.

One of the very best things we can do…is to at least stop this war on the planets ecosystem and food supply, on her children and animals and insects.  We have major aspects to both the US natal chart and MONSATAN RIGHT NOW!

But it is up to us to make the change….PRAYER WORKS, PRAYER IN ACTION WORKS BETTER.

So, with all of this unearthing and revealing, we must seek to know ourselves. 

We may not be in positions to affect change on the world stage (if you are, by all means this is your time) and can feel powerless in the face of all of this.  We CAN make sure that we are aligned and in our integrity, spiritually, physically and economically.  We can take care of our own health.  We can tie up loose ends in our lives.  We can remedy any old karma we have not dealt with.  We can act and become a living prayer, and prepare ourselves through our own excavations, tidying up our own lives.  Put your house in order. 

We must bring the dark into the light of day.  Start with our own darkness.  Face your fears as best you can, as you can.  Take things one step and one accomplishment at a time.

This means change on an individual and global scale.

What has true meaning for you?  Pluto wants to know what we value along with Taurean Venus, which moves from Scorpio and into Sagittarius on

Monday, November 17^th. 

So, we will move from the depths of Plutonian Scorpio (at least with Venus/Values/partnerships and what we love) into fiery Sag the archer.

Prepare for moving forward, especially as the sun moves closer to his new moon alignment on November 22, 7:33 A.M at 0* of Sagittarius.  These are magical numbers: 11:22 and 7:33.

Finish up old business matters as best as you can and prepare for to shoot your arrow straight and far into the future you came to live.

For now, try to console yourselves on any dark night, knowing that so many feel they too, are in this darkness, the muddy waters and they too, may be having a difficult time finding the pearls, the value. 

Jupiter/Zeus is at 21* of Leo the lion.  He will bring laughter and a sense of play and fun without trying too hard.  Laughter is a wonderful medicine and he will also find courage, he can cut open Saturn’s belly or head (depending on the version) and release his brothers and sisters, the titans that are trapped inside of you.

Compassion will lead you to the living waters. 

We will need this as we move forward where everything ‘dark’ is being cast upon the airwaves, dark holes, dark horses, dark matter, dark polar vortex, dark shadows.

So, go into your dark world and do some excavations, help someone else find their pearls, go for a walk and let the air fill your being as nature soothes the soul.  Expose the light that is under your lampstand. 

This will also expose a lot of that sticky-sweet goo that inhabits a lot of new age belief’s…which are really ego strokers that like a drug, feel good at first but leave you spinning in all directions, without the true light shining, but the illusion of light.

This is not to say that amazing truths are not there to be found, but all the sages of the past, teach us to have compassion, to care for one another, not abandon those around you because ‘they are negative and bring you down’….Caring about people is the foundation for the souls evolution, the key is compassion and the doorway is in the heart.
The universe already knows who you are.  Your vibration is already a siren call into the universe.  You cannot fake who you are.  You cannot wish a world into existence.  In integrity, you expose your soul as the illusions fall; the truth does indeed set us free.

Remember, the squares cause tension, but you cannot build anything without them.

Riders on the Storm into the Super Moon of January 30th.

We are almost ready to welcome in the Year of the Wood/Horse, which will arrive on Friday the day after the new moon a SUPER MOON, which is Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 5:40PM, EST.

Have you been organizing, cleaning and preparing?  Perhaps you are aware of subtle energies that have been pushing you as we wait in the starting gate, to begin our gallop into the new year?
This new moon is in Aquarius at 10* and forms a sextile to Uranus which is at 9* of Aries and moving into the next exact square to Pluto.

This is the supportive aspect we can tap into, which would be to make those changes and take those lessons you learned and move forward.   The changes should include new ways and/or approaches to your life, how will you invest your identity/ego (sun) as it mates with LaLuna (emotions/feelings) and how you mother your world/family.

Those steps into the future you have been preparing for and mulling over now, probably for the entire year if not longer; we are now leaving behind.

Can you work out of the home, using the internet somehow?  Can you create a mixture of working part time at home and part time in a physical location?  IF Not, then it will be time to move forward with a whole new attitude, or new way of ‘feeling’ about what you do and how you invest your ego/identity inside of that module.  When we marry the male and female aspect, we want to forge a new approach, and since this is the year of the horse, one which is well rested. We are ready to charge forward, reigned by the knowledge and wisdom the past few years have forged within us.

 We have all learned lessons, how our choices make us ‘feel’ and where we find ourselves inside our own story?  Where do those we love and those who love us, find us, both mentally, emotionally and physically?

We must find a way to enjoy our lives, and with Venus retrograde and also going direct at 13* of Capricorn on the 31^st. we have had plenty of time to review and revisit what we love, who we love and how we love.  What brings love into our world?

With all of that review, as we move forward, we now have a much better idea of the cost of love, or the cost of the ‘things’ we love, possessions, worldly goods that must be obtained through in this case, the Goat of Capricorn who climbs the ladder of
success, sometimes to look back (Janus) At the mountain climbed and purvey a hard won success, or to reassess and perhaps to reconsider that the toll has not been worth the investment and the energy expended to achieve what may have been only an illusory world that is always just one more step out of reach.

Venus asks us what we take pleasure in, and much like Hercules in his 2^nd labor, where he is tasked to kill the 9-headed Hydra (the desire for pleasure), every time he cuts off a head, three more appear in its place. The lesson in part, being that you cannot conquer the lust for pleasure through trying to avoid pleasure, we need pleasure, and Hercules learns he must cauterizes the severed head with fire to keep the passions from rising again in another form(another passion). 

So, I return to my initial query, have you been feeling restless?  Feel as though you just cannot move forward?  Well, I have been telling you to prepare for this forward momentum, and if we look to the degrees of 9, 10 and 11* of Aquarius, we are straddling the first decanate of Aquarius into the second which is Gemini of those same degrees, but also Libra in those degrees as well, since we hook into the PLUTO Square from Uranus in those same degrees on the Cardinal Cross that has been forming and then separating back and forth now, and will continue into the last square in 2015.

YOU ARE BEING FORGED, if you are one of the Cardinal signs; Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, and in these degrees: 8* through 15* in particular, and the emphasis is now on 9-12*.   Then this time frame and astrological aspects are affecting you on a much more intense level.  On November 01, 2013 we reached the midpoint of the squares, the next exact square occurring on April 21, 2014.  Pluto/Hades the transformer of POWER and Uranus/OURANOS the planet that represents new technology and inventions (the Age of Aquarius) but also the community in their square dance, have been transforming us and how we fit into the community, as the flames of Hades lick off the dross and stagnant shell that no longer fits us, we find ourselves restless, even as we search for energy necessary to make the changes .

As we reign in our new found forces, we are ready to gallop forward towards the next square.
Mars/Ares in Libra at 22* is still forming a wide trine to support Mercury/Hermes at 29* of Aquarius, in putting forth that energy and action into travel and communications, after we sift through a bit of the unsettling energy we are currently experiencing.  Hermes will soon go retrograde on February 6^th at 3* of Pisces, to make the trine more exact at 26* a couple of days after Valentine’s Day!  As we struggle to put the right words into order, contracts being re-written to hold the power of that energy, we can find a peace and a focus for our deeper concerns.

Speaking of horses, HERmes will almost meet up with Neptune/Poseidon who is at 4* of Pisces before turning around, and that moment is also forming a lovely trine to the head of the dragon which is at 2* of Scorpio.  OOooh, we can feel the sizzle of sensual healing coming on top of the Venus/Aphrodite retrograde to follow our spiritual core/purpose. Our dreams have been flashing across our PIneal matrix with our upgraded screens making everything deeper and more profound than ever.

Jupiter/Zeus at 12* of Cancer is firmly opposing Aphrodite/Hades conjunction, the lightening across the skies cracking open an ever deepening abyss, and for some, too deep to hang into the torment unleashed.  The doorways stand wide open, as many have chosen to make their transition into the next world, the river of living waters/tears that floods our world, not enough to water the drought on the West Coast, but certainly enough for the flash frozen collision as it hits the wall of the Arctic and pours itself out on the East Coast, now experiencing bitter cold temperatures not seen in decades.
I will be writing soon about some planetary changes/climate shifts to look for with new astrological aspects forming.

Our world is changing, being transformed and we along with it as we make decisions to move forward or cling to the skeletons of the past barely clothed in their tattered garments.

This is not to say to move forward with every new gust of wind and simply ‘go with the flow’ if that is the measurement of least resistance, for indeed, as I often say, the Eternal Sound of God is the measurement OF resistance.  It is the temperance that fortifies, the exercise that builds the muscles and the discipline that brings freedoms. Ommmmmmm!

When to move and go with the momentum you have aligned yourself with, and when to resist is the art of wisdom.

I don’t usually celebrate January 1 as the New Year like most people, simply because Pope Gregory made it so.  The spring equinox (New Moon in Aries which is the first house in the zodiac/Mazzaroth) has been the beginning for me, ever since I had this dream in the early 90’s:

Excerpt from a dream in which I am being taught:

{Dreaming myself lucid, I Walk into a cave; there in the far ends are three witches standing around a black kettle over a fire that is flashing light off the walls.  They are maiden, mother and crone.

As the flames lick the walls a lusty yellow-umbery-orange-golden-brown, they light up symbols and markings, pictures and writings that have been painted, etched and drawn on the walls over many years.

As I gaze and try to make out some of the markings, the crone begins to ask me questions.  I consider them and answer them all to her satisfaction.  I Am adding up numbers and explaining the meaning, gematria, etymology and connecting the dots that create the bigger matrix, as the fire continuously flashes onto the wall, revealing more symbols like doorways into other dimensions.

She smiles reassuringly as if she is proud of what she has taught me so far, and then she tells me that I AM doing     very well, and all that I say is true but that when I relate some of the numbers, I AM forgetting the old ways.

I consider what she is saying, and it doesn’t take me too long before I realize what she is prodding me to remember; that 

January is not the first month, but the 10^th astrologically, and I must consider this as it is the Spring Equinox that is the new beginning, (New Moon in Aries) and that Aries is the 1^st month.

As I make this realization and the numbers fall into deeper meanings, even the 10^th house (My father’s house has many mansions, every degree in astrology is a mansion.) and the combination of the 1 and the 0 open up into common sense with the 0 being the magnification and gifts from beyond and past lives, making complete sense of the Capricornian relationship to the 10 rather than the 1.

Yet, it does mark the Cardinal point on the MidHeaven…0…1…10 a binary code that unlocks the higher truths that the goat scales up into the heights to find, precariously perched on seemingly nothing at all, standing at the cliff walls as they venture upwards to the very peaks of the mountains ~PAN and his similar hoofs.}

I am reminded of Book VII of The Republic, The Allegory of the Cave and this excerpt where Socrates is talking to a young follower of his named Glaucon:

…”To them, I said, the truth would be literally nothing but the shadows of the images.

That is certain.

And now look again, and see what will naturally follow if the prisoners are released and disabused of their error. At first, when any of them is liberated and compelled suddenly to stand up and turn his neck round and walk and look towards the light, he will suffer sharp pains; the glare will distress him, and he will be unable to see the realities of which in his former state he had seen the shadows; and then conceive someone saying to him, that what he saw before was an illusion, but that now, when he is approaching nearer to being and his eye is turned towards more real existence, he has a clearer vision, -what will be his reply? And you may further imagine that his instructor is pointing to the objects as they pass and requiring him to name them, -- will he not be perplexed? Will he not fancy that the shadows which he formerly saw are truer than the objects which are now shown to him?

Far truer.

And if he is compelled to look straight at the light, will he not have a pain in his eyes which will make him turn away to take and take in the objects of vision which he can see, and which he will conceive to be in reality clearer than the things which are now being shown to him?

True, he said.

And suppose once more, that he is reluctantly dragged up a steep and rugged ascent, and held fast until he 's forced into the presence of the sun himself, is he not likely to be pained and irritated? When he approaches the light his eyes will be dazzled, and he will not be able to see anything at all of what are now called realities.

Not all in a moment, he said.

He will require to grow accustomed to the sight of the upper world. And first he will see the shadows best, next the reflections of men and other objects in the water, and then the objects themselves; then he will gaze upon the light of the moon and the stars and the spangled heaven; and he will see the sky and the stars by night better than the sun or the light of the sun by day?

Certainly.

Last of he will be able to see the sun, and not mere reflections of him in the water, but he will see him in his own proper place, and not in another; and he will contemplate him as he is.

Certainly.

He will then proceed to argue that this is he who gives the season and the years, and is the guardian of all that is in the visible world, and in a certain way the cause of all things which he and his fellows have been accustomed to behold?

Clearly, he said, he would first see the sun and then reason about him.

And when he remembered his old habitation, and the wisdom of the den and his fellow-prisoners, do you not suppose that he would felicitate himself on the change, and pity them?

Certainly, he would.

And if they were in the habit of conferring honours among themselves on those who were quickest to observe the passing shadows and to remark which of them went before, and which followed after, and which were together; and who were therefore best able to draw conclusions as to the future, do you think that he would care for such honours and glories, or envy the possessors of them? Would he not say with Homer?

Better to be the poor servant of a poor master, and to endure anything, rather than think as they do and live after their manner?

Yes, he said, I think that he would rather suffer anything than entertain these false notions and live in this miserable manner.

Imagine once more, I said, such an one coming suddenly out of the sun to be replaced in his old situation; would he not be certain to have his eyes full of darkness?

To be sure, he said.

And if there were a contest, and he had to compete in measuring the shadows with the prisoners who had never moved out of the den, while his sight was still weak, and before his eyes had become steady (and the time which would be needed to acquire this new habit of sight might be very considerable) would he not be ridiculous? Men would say of him that up he went and down he came without his eyes; and that it was better not even to think of ascending; and if any one tried to lose another and lead him up to the light, let them only catch the offender, and they would put him to death.

No question, he said.

This entire allegory, I said, you may now append, dear Glaucon, to the previous argument; the prison-house is the world of sight, the light of the fire is the sun, and you will not misapprehend me if you interpret the journey upwards to be the ascent of the soul into the intellectual world according to my poor belief, which, at your desire, I have expressed whether rightly or wrongly God knows. But, whether true or false, my opinion is that in the world of knowledge the idea of good appears last of all, and is seen only with an effort; and, when seen, is also inferred to be the universal author of all things beautiful and right, parent of light and of the lord of light in this visible world, and the immediate source of reason and truth in the intellectual; and that this is the power upon which he who would act rationally, either in public or private life must have his eye fixed.”…~ end of Plato's allegory.

On this New Year’s Day however, we happen to also be experiencing a New Moon at 10* of Capricorn and a particularly powerful astrological configuration as I partially explained in the last blog.  This last happened 18 years ago in 1995 also at 10* of Capricorn.  This is the first of 5 Super Moons this year.

So, we start the year with the second decanate of Capricorn. This is the Taurus-decanate of Saturn’s sign and thus it is about work and possessions, the ‘I have and I desire’.  The moon is also swimming in its detriment, slogging through the earthy world Saturn rules.  Saturn wants structure and the moon is watery and reflective.  As she mates with the sun, the heiros gamos or Hierogamy in Greek, plays out the ancient dance of marrying the pairs of opposites.  The moon stands before the sun, where she is hidden as the dark mother ready to initiate us in the Cardinal sign of Capricorn. 

We will be asked to make the most of whatever environment we find ourselves in, as we question what it is ‘to have and have not’. 
What has value? Is something worth the investment of our time and the hours we must work to ‘have’ what we believe we desire?  Can we possess anything at all or do we realize that our possessions can and do in fact possess us, just as the earth herself is our possessor, our earthen vessel? 

The sun (ego/identity) and moon (feelings/emotions) are also travelling with Hades (underworld/death/transformation/rebirth) and in the court of Hades, we are asked to cut away as we also have things cut out of our own lives, including the death or consideration about the loss of those we love.

What did they mean to us in this life, what have they given to us and what did we give to them?  What cave do we hide and restore ourselves inside of and then proceed to give birth to, what are we giving birth to?  Desire, is to De-sire, to give birth to the emotional world from the top of the mountain in passion, as well as to see the suffering of others, which gives birth to compassion and wisdom as the Buddha was enlightened.  The PASSION of Venus /Aphrodite (what we love, the heart of the matter) is leading this Capricornian stellium at 26*, so she has already been opening or triggering this issue for the past month.

Mercury/Hermes/Thoth/Thought (communication, siblings, travel) is tightly paired up with all them at 12*, and in the world of Capricorn, issues of money take the stage whether it is lack or luxury; the messenger who meets us at the crossroads and takes us across the river Styx is exactly the guide who freely enters the court of Hades.  We plumb the depths of our psychological world, and just as the fire flashed across the cave walls revealing images and insights, we gather up our inspirational moments, travel with the goat to the tops of the mountain, precariously placing one earthly hoof in front of the other, until at last we see the Promised Land.

On January 6^th, we look for the epiphany, that aha moment as the three kings orient (Orion) and align our trinity of soul, matter and mind to achieve the Wisdom found through compassion, we are given the virgin birth of grace, to wash away the past and restore our spirit anew.  From our perch high atop the mountain, what new insight is revealed to us?

Jupiter/Zeus (I U PATER/joy/expansion/higher knowledge) is opposing this stellium in Capricorn across the Great Divide in Cancer, and as Jupiter rules the LAW, he is a co-ruler of Capricorn which rules the structures of POWER.  Zeus is also forming the forth branch of the Cardinal Cross, as he pulls back the curtain in retrograde; he is also squaring Uranus (Insight/sudden change/electricity) who recently went direct in Aries (new beginnings) and also squaring Mars (Ares/war/anger/passion) in Libra (partnerships/the other), we see a very incendiary formation in our heavens; to both burn away the dross revealing the truth of the situation, what is integral to our higher order and ascent as well as a much clearer path…even as it comes from perhaps very difficult circumstances.

What we thought we needed as a partner to walk through this life with may take on new meanings as Fiery Mars impassions our need for a considerate ‘Other’, who wants to put as much energy into the partnership as we are willing to INVEST.  This is especially magnified as the duality of Janus, who looks to both sides of the mountain and backwards over her shoulder to the past, our travels, our failures as well as our accomplishments, now turns forward to plan our future and using Poseidon’s bridge across the watery dimensions of our dreams, project our path forward into the matrix.  As our vision is anchored into the neuronal mapping of the starry vault of our Temple, a New World lights up and we will clearly see the path we came to walk.  Don’t worry, there is plenty more in the Grand Astrological Architecture to reveal your destiny.

Because this of course also means that both Mars (at 11* of Libra) and Uranus (at 8* of Aries) are squaring this stellar line up of: Sun, Moon, Pluto, and Mercury in Capricorn.  Uranus wants to break free and run, he will cut lose given a glimpse of Freedom and he wants to feel the electrical charge of what is new and exciting.  As Pluto is reignited by the solar flares a passionate inferno (Dante’s read the last post) is stoked, the volcanic magma of our blood bursts forth like the fireworks exploding all over the world and lights up the dark moons black heart, even as Black Moon Lilith who is paired up in this Grand Cross with Zeus at 18* demands to be seen and respected, we finally must acknowledge our own darker truths, the shadow side we have hidden.

All things conspire to reveal the INDIA Inked lining woven within our journey, who reflects back like Nostradamus’s mirror, our own hand and responsibility in our world and the circumstances we now find ourselves living.  Once we can acknowledge our own responsibility, we see what we are RESPONSE-ABLE FOR AND THAT WE ARE NOT VICTIMIZED WHEN WE ARE ABLE TO RESPOND AS THE VICTOR.

The Golden Sun can emerge, and in case you still don’t know your own strength the moon will enter Libra again on the 22^nd and 23^rd right after Venus/Aphrodite goes retrograde on the 21^st. and Jupiter Opposes Pluto/Hades exactly at 12* of Cancer and Capricorn respectively and really harnesses that furnace with a full metal jacket or shall I Say, tin jacket of the Crab.
